"You, giving me orders? I'm royality and you are just an ape! You don't make the rules here! You want to tie me to the Dragon? I dare you try! I'll break your useless bones, peasant!"
Perhaps you misunderstood the situation, but YOUR ROYALTY CLEARLY DOESN'T WORK HERE!! If you DARE resist, I'll rip off a few of your tentacles and use them as dragon treats and then I'll give the army a perfect opportunity to deal with what remains of you!!
Order the dragon to hold still for a moment, and then bind him and the octopus, since the octopus literally lost his sanity. Glare menacingly at the octopus in the process. I might need help with the binding.
Any volunteers?
but his majesty has agreed to go along peacefully
((I did agree and you missed it.))
and then bind him and the octopus
((Why the hell are you doing this? You know I had already agreed to surrender and now you're trying to attack me.))
Say command word to tell Freddy to get off me then use my high physical stats and huge octopus strenght to break the monkey arms. If Freddy refuses, push him off me with my strenght into monkey. Do anything I can to avoid being bound and attack the monkey.
"That's it! This is now personal! I'll kill you!"
"Dragon, Rise!"
(The word you want is "Rise")
Get off the octopus, but don't brook the octopus attacking me. Binding wings and such is fine, but growl a bit if the party wants to bind my mouth. They can, if they try to do so, but make it obvious Freddie doesn't like that.
If the lower-ranked octopus tries to kill a higher-ranking member, (The Gorilla), bite the octopus to let him know that the dragon, being top dog, doesn't approve of such actions.
Okay, what I am reading here is that The Gorilla is attempting to do the peaceful binding of the Dragon, who would accept this.
Meanwhile, the Gorilla is guarding against the Octopus and attempting intimidation.
In opposition, the Octopus is attempting an all out physical attack on the Gorilla. Against which the Dragon will join in on Gorilla's side in an attempt to force the Octopus into submission.
...
meanwhile, one of the Octopus' arms is still rogue. And there's the army.
Will roll, Gorilla V. Octopus: 2 v 6. Kongor's attempts at intimidation further enrage the already somewhat unhinged Rex.
Alright, now weight classes and strength come into play. Rex is something like a
giant pacific octopus Stated size of Rex: three meters, or nine feet. Weight class: 22-110 Pounds. Abut the size of a small to medium sized child. But I've been playing him larger - say 400-500 pounds. (this would put him into the 20-25 ft armspan range)
Meanwhile, Kongor is stated to be
An average (male) Gorilla This puts him between 300 and 425 lbs. Call it 375.
Strengthwise- I can find no reference to Octopodes being particularly strong in relation to other creatures. The only reference point in game is Terrance, who was more of a stealth character. That and Rex's previous combats, which have him facing off against a crocodile and against the kitchen staff at Omega, both with mixed results. Gorillas, on the other hand, are massively powerful.
Both have unarmed skill of +2
Rex has a spec in tentacle combat, while Kongor has grappling and animal rage.
Now, Freddie: Freddie's weight class is a bit higher than Kongor's, allowing him to sit on the octopus with near impunity (though perhaps the octopus could have thrown him, had he not voluntarily risen). Dragons are more known for massive size than for sheer strength, though. Hmm. Not sure if "Slayer of Big Things" Comes into play.
Speed: Freddie +2, Kongor 0, Rex -2 This is the order of actions and the order I'll post die rolls.
Resolution of the action:
Freddie rises and Rex immediately launches at Kongor. First action: Freddie attempts to bite Rex:
(2)v(5) but is avoided, as Rex has prepared for that eventuality.
Now Kongor (I am taking his threat as a statement of intent in this case) Attempts to rip Rex limb from limb, while Rex attempts to do likewise to Kongor.
(2) v (1) and (3) v (4)Kongor swings wildly at Rex(the 2), but misses as Rex slams bodily into Kongor, staggering and pushing him back (the 3). However, this stuns Rex a little (the 1) and gives Kongor the opportunity to grapple Rex, which he does immediately(the 4). Now Rex rolls against his rogue limb: (1) which wraps itself around his head and squeezes.
Begin an excessively dramatic and very loud reading of any porn scripts I find in the material, using really silly caraciture voices.
This may or may not be really distracting if such things are factored into the other actions this turn.
Just sit back and go along with our captors
Meanwhile, these two join the circle of the army and watch the battle, catcalling and shuting 'helpful' advise and promises of 'rewards' to the victor.
