Yeah, Adjilia definitely needs to have harbors, considering that a significant portion of its capital city is made of harbors.

A small farm is 300 to purchase, 100 to maintain, and allows for 5,000 additional population to be supported.
A normal farm is 500 to purchase, 200 to maintain, and allows for 10,000 addition population to be supported.
A large farm, plantation, orchard, or other large food producing facility costs 1000 to purchase, 400 to maintain, and allows for 25,000 additional population to be supported.

Farms aren't the only food income sources by the way, ships can be used to produce food (4,000 additional population), as well as ranches, whalers, and other ways to get food. Right now food is pretty much the sole determination of population, but that will change as people start dying the game progresses.

Is this placement correct? It wasn't super clear where the capital should go. Did you want it on the ocean or the inland sea?

Hey, Glass. Want to establish a trade route with Moros? It wouldn't offer much at the moment, but once the League reclaims its enclaves/establishes trade routes with other lands, you'd gain access to a whole host of exotic resources.

Hmmmm, you should probably do something in the IC to establish something like that. Perhaps send a messenger ship with goods or something like that.

I'd say it'll be a good 10 or so turns until those prototypes are really good enough to use as actual units; for now, it's a show of plans and goodwill.

Well look at that! You sure do have the right unit for such an endeavor  :P
Although, a diplomat, emissary, or other similar unit could set up trade deals as well.

What's the starting tech level look like?

Welp, time to go to the write-up forge...

Things are pretty much open as far as terrain goes. As long as its not too extreme it should be fine. I'm working on creating a hexmap overlay to this map (Because it will look nicer and be more functional) and so if that works out then I'll add features to the map.

The starting tech level is medieval with a sprinkle of technology steampunk, alchemy, and other fledgling parascientific endeavors. Magic is also pretty rudimentary as it has been outlawed for a few hundred years, but does exist.



Leader on Ship: Establish trade route with Adjilia. Bring 100 coins worth of cargo (mostly wine) to trade.

When I said you had the perfect unit, I meant your merchant. The leader will totally work, its just a dangerous action to take. In some ways they're a lot like the king in a game of chess, the main one being, it's really bad if they die.




Let me know if I should change anything/how much leeway I have to write more and specify names, etc. Mostly wanted to secure a spot.

I figured my leader, being a merchant, would also work. If there's a substantial risk involved, I may have to rethink things. Are we talking like 1/6 chance of the ship sinking, or what?
