Arcane is arcane, no matter the amount of damage dealt. Let's say, you deal 120 physical damage and 10 arcane damage, and undead rolls 2 for effect. It gets 10 HP restored, but still gets 120 damage - resistances and armor. Even at 5 damage with 5 roll you will obliterate undead, though some bosses might be immune to arcane so it won't work.

Why are my faith and health so low?

That faith thing must be a typo, as demo has 15 faith. As for health, some spells backfired at you when shooting the chef.

Then the cook died, you leveled up, and gained 10 max health (but no gain to actual health). You lost 10 health, and then your cap gained 10 health, leaving you with a final difference of 20 health.

EDIT: Point is, navy or light blue should work. The latter would likely be better, though.
We have too many people that speak in blue.
