Just checking for trade, the sequence would be forxemple:

Turn 1) Buy a caravan
Turn 2) Move a caravan two tiles
Turn 3) Move a caravant two tiles, establish the mission and gain 1200.

Can the 1200 already be used in turn three (for exemple to buy another caravan) or only in turn 4?

It would be available in Turn 4, along with the option to establish a permanent trade route.

Also: I've written up most of the turn, just waiting on micelus to complete it.

Also, I have no idea what's in those letters between the Barnstocks and the Bannerlands, but either there's an argument, a terrifying alliance or an imminent war between them brewing, based on how many messengers are running between the kingdoms.  o_o
My impression was that we all know something's up but it's a whisper on the wind. A ton of that. :P

Either way I hope sheb and buddy gaz are doing well o_o I envy their MULTIPLE TERRITORIES now.

Also I'm under the impression the Empire will notice us soon and begin being grumpy ruler Imperials, like that Fallen empire in Stellaris which keeps giving mandates but doesn't help you.

They don't have to give permission for it to complete, but they could also destroy the caravan and loot it if they want to as well.

I have now split the various sea territories, as can be seen below:



This has thus changed some of the rules.

A ground unit that attacks whilst crossing the light blue coastal waters will receive the -8 penalty as before. It still takes an entire turn of movement for a ground unit to move in this way. Naval units will have their speed increased slightly to compensate for the higher number of territories they must now traverse.

The dark blue ocean waters are impassable to all units without the appropriate technology.

Both ocean and coastal territories now only count as one territory each with regards to calculating caravan distance.

I will update the OP and get the turn out shortly.

I don't have the original python files any more, but I suspect that's probably how my ham-fisted efforts in coding ended up doing it.
