Your lord looks upon you with a slight smile, he has no problem understanding you, after all, he can read your very thoughts if he wishes. The power of a Pillar is limitless. You suddenly realize just how crazy the mage you were combating was, there was no way he could have succeeded in his plan to make himself into a Pillar.

"Deserving? What does that have to do with anything? Entertaining is all that I care for. That little ambush was hilarious, you should have seen yourself when those hounds jumped! Anyway, you are going back regardless of what you think. You are mine, and you do what I wish." He raises his hand a bit, like he was preparing to brush you away "any last minute requests? No? Off you go then." He completes his motion, and you get a sudden sensation of falling, before suddenly thumping onto the floor of the temple in Center City, the place where your adventure began. You have no equipment, as all your stuff is still with your body. Also left behind are the various parts you have added since you set out.

((You can explore the city for a bit if you wish, or teleport back to the others. You will not arrive before combat is finished, your little meeting with the South Pillar took longer than it seemed. If you want to swap or sell skills and attribute points you still can, I'll just assume you got your request out in time.

I'll update your sheet in a bit.

That remindes me, I need to clarify how death is handled from a rules standpoint. Basically you can sell skills, attribute HP or armor, etc in exchange for EXP which you can than spend again. Or, if you prefer you can roll a completely new character at the cost of a bunch of your earned EXP.))

Crystis rolls to his feet and stumbles back with a hiss of pain He is pretty sure some bones where broken by that attack.
"nhgg. A brutal blow."
crystis attempts to back out of range, covering himself with wing shield. The shimmering energy within the crystals of his wings brought to bear the brunt of attacks.
"I'm in need of healing!

Ripple hears Crystis and attempts to knock back the enemy closest to Crystis.

Crystis disengages from the battle and pulls back 2 range increments.
PaPaj makes another leap at the spider, (2,3) but it dodges his attack again, so he barely nicks it.
Ripple (high boney, low mechanical, 6) attacks Boney in an effort to protect Crystis. (5,4) his hit is solid, and hammers into Boney's side like a piledriver.
Skia slinks from a shadow behind the crystal golem, and (6,2 +1 damage/hit, -1 target armor) drives his spear deep into its torso, killing it instantly.

The professor seems to be holding his own against the mage, for now.

Boney is successfully distracted from his previous target, and Ripple is much tougher than Crystis. Despite his grievous wounds, Boney still hits like a truck, but it is hard to squash water. (2 damage).
The mechanical makes another try for PaPaj, and he lands a solid blow (3 damage)
The spider on the other hand is too weak to do much more than flail a bit (miss)

Feil (2) heals Crystis for 4 HP.

Boney and the spider are both practically dead. The mechanical is still in pretty good shape.

PaPaj is at 2/7 health! Skia is at full health, but has 3/7 energy. Crystis is at full health, but 4/5 energy. Ripple is at 7/9 health.

Disliking being punched, Ripple attempts to dodge the next attack and face Boney away from Ripple's teammates.

Crystis sends a hail of crystal shards at Boney, (6,2) completely shredding pretty much everything that isn't covered by one of his bone plates. Boney is now very dead.
PaPaj pulls back, using the confusion of Boney's death as cover.
Ripple, his original target dead, (1) turns on the mechanical (5,3) and deals another solid hit, taking off a good chunk of its health.
Meanwhile,  Skia charges twords the group (now 4 range increments away)

The mage battle is still locked in a stalemate.

The mechanical tries to spear Ripple, but his attack passes right through.
The spider flails ineffectually at Ripple, not even coming close (wow, this guy's rolls are really bad).

Feil heals PaPaj for 2 HP.

The mechanical is low on health, a solid hit should finish him. The spider is practically dead.

Nobody took any damage this turn, so the only changes are that Crystis has 3/5 energy, and PaPaj 4/7 health.
