Randomly warring people for no good reason is going to cause other nations to hate us and not respect us. I think honestly most other nations already don't like us, randomly going to war is just going to make it worse. That's why I want to call off the war at least.

Add to the lack of provocation that this is close family. We have male cousins in Helliste of Houlandin's age, do you really think Haspen will miss the chance to pit us against them? (Or are you leaving Houlandin and his bonuses home?) Reputation as a warmonger is bad enough, becoming a kinslayer guarantees nobody will want to be seen talking to us.

Here, we will have acess to the sea, create contacts to start building our own ships and maybe colonize somewhere far away or have the pillars for building an armada faster when we conquer albion or whatever, and if they decide to cut our way we will have a nice excuse
