I think that helmacon meant to try to see whether the stars can be matched up to prove that Orcworld is or isn't in the same galaxy.

This would be completely beyond our geometrical capabilities even if it is, of course.

Peace is coming to Helliste and Parsia and Cydwyl and everywhere, because Cyl met with emissaries of Rosamana; it has been decided that Rosamana will get easternmost of Helliste territories, and an 'inviolate promise' was written for all sides involved that Western peoples stay on western side of Bloodpeak Mountains, while Agaresians and other subjects of Rosamana are allowed free reign east of aforementioned mountains. Rosamana in return agreed to pay rather small sum of money as 'reparations' for damage she and her raiders did to Helliste.

This treaty has been already approved by Aubjorn of Helliste (against wishes of his merchant nobles) and noblemen of Parsia.Your Vizier in Parsia reports that he was unware of the nobles participating, nor that they consulted with him for any of these diplomatic matters.

As for war with Rosamana...

A) I don't see anywhere that Methiant agreed to it! Onwards, we drive the eastern savages out!
B) Obviously, the war's ended. No point letting our men wander the wastelands far from their homes!
C) Rosamana have not signed a treaty with us yet. I ought to have some gains from this war!

As for Parsian 'free will'...

A) Milk's spilled, no point crying over it.
