Alright. So votes on what acronym we are going with would be appreciated!

Then we need votes on the Production phase.

Two votes (Me and RAM) for the above.

Because unlike RAM, I am selfish and willing to vote for my own cheap re-branding of someone else's work genius, original, and creative proposal.

I'm going to show support for this too because the H.O.S.E. seems pretty cool and this acronym is a genius, original, and creative proposal.

This man knows his acronyms. It truly is a work of art.

Let's make a H.O.S.E, following what everyone is going for.

If Stirk ever picks up on this again, looks like the vote is set.

Its not dead, I'm just horrible at updating in a timely manner :=0. The next phase includes the battle phase, which is kinda long. Ill get to it.

Eventually.

It might be the supernatural force doing terrorism.
But that's just my guess.

Really? That is weird. I was going to have the bad guys chilling out doing a tea ceremony or having a picnic this time. That is much better than my idea!

I'll try to have the turn up later today when I am more awake.

To be fair, you could totally have Team Evil lay low on occasion. It would be sort of like a double-turn but with them coming out stronger afterwards and us not having gained any loot with which to make use of our double-turn. Or not, I am not really clear how it could be turned into something particularly entertaining.

I think I'm sticking with the picnic idea. *chew*

The project finally has a coherent name! The

Well I will once again add research into tuning the oversights to better observe and record the stuff that only they are detecting.
Also developing specialists and contacts to covertly research and sell our loot. Hopefully automatically getting times and places that they likely originated from or were modelled after and price tags and a free pass to trade them in if we want to. Granted it probably wouldn't reveal the presence of mystical qualities or inconsistent materials, but at least a price-tag would help us decide if it is worth hanging onto them to investigate.

Of course, I expect the Mongrel interrogation to win, or learning magic, but I hope to get these things dealt with someday.

0 Public Division:

While the prospect of learning magic or figuring out how to transplant Mongrel-like regenerative abilities into our soldiers both seem fairly tantalizing, there's still the fact we have to face: Two of our men almost died. Thanks to the quick response of the rest of the team they survived, but next time they might not be so lucky. Technology dedicated to figuring out exactly what they're getting into would go miles towards preventing these situations and perhaps even increase their effectiveness by being able to analyze new threats on the fly.

Cool guns are fun and all, but I don't want to have a team that's comprised entirely of blind glass cannons.

So, here comes a proposition (really just an elaboration) for upping the ante on these sensors.

Project P.O.L.A.R.O.I.D.
[Polyphasic Omnidirectional Light-field And Radioscopic Optical Investigatory Detection]
By taking most modern methods of detection and turning them at our currently captured subjects, we take the data and look for any similarities in wavelength, infared, UV, or other types of radiation, anything that we can find that would be out of the ordinary in a normal situation. On top of that, care is given to ensure the new device being created can function at maximum range while collecting as much information as possible. Everything from amplified light readings and infared cameras to barometric pressure and beta wave tracking is monitored to give any and every advantage to the men in the field. Of course, a handy interface where all this information is coalesced into a form that is easily understandable in the field would be appreciated. Energy signatures we discover that are already associated with specific enemies and other "unknown" threats would be highlighted for easy detection. Some minor focus should be dedicated towards making the device smaller and possibly mounted on a soldier's helmet or armor.
POLAROID's main focus is and always should be detection first, however. Knowledge is power, after all, and we need every edge we can get.

Cybernetics Mark II:
P.A.R.O.I. Mk 1 (Powered Armor/Rapid Offensive Intervention)

Utilizing our cybernetic leg technologies, a new form of leg is developed---a casing. It goes around the soldier's leg, protecting it, while granting superhuman strength. This is accompanied by a steel-reinforced full-body interceptor suit, with more protection around vitals including the neck and wrists. The extra power of the legs, and the steel-frame support structure, allows for a soldier wearing this suit to carry much more than a normal soldier while still moving at fast speeds.
