Wut?

Transistors, the fundamental block of all modern electronics, and a thing invented in 1947, as an easy revision?

It is surprising. Makes me wonder if the magnitron radar might be easier than we expected too.

Sure we can get it in a revision.  I mean it would be very hard, and in a revision that makes it impossible.  But we could!

Fine.

aTJ04 "Marketing Department revision"

In an attempt to improve the ease of production of the engine, while also improving it's capabilities, Artotzkan metallurgists were brought on board the jet engine design project. They immediately suggests a series of significant improvements.

First, they note that Titanium will oxidize in high temperature environments. This results in extreme brittleness and eventual violent disintegration of the engine. As such, they endeavor to reduce Titanium use within the engine to a minimum, lowering costs and reducing instances of spontaneous engine disintegration.

A small amount of Aluminum is added to the alloy used in the hot parts of the engine, allowing the use of lower quality steel (which is cheaper and less complex to make) without any loss of performance or reliability. At the same time, the Turbine blades are replaced with a Steel-Maganese alloy. This alloy allows the Turbine blades to be folded and welded, replacing the complex forging process previously required.

Conservative estimates show that these improvements should not only greatly reduce complexity, but also allow for a certain performance margin to be reclaimed.

Hard: 5
aTJ04 B:
This version of the aT J04 jet engine is cheaper to produce. Moskurg's inexpensive mass-forging techniques have been applied to some new varieties of alloys, which are nickel-aluminum based for some of the colder blades and nickel-steel with small amounts of Tungsten for hot blades and combustion chambers. The new jets are of similar performance to the old ones, but less expensive to produce.

Mission Accomplished. We removed the [Complex] tag.

On to political matters.

Tell the nazis to mind their own beeswax, but send them jet schematics as a consolation?

Yes, lets tell the nazis to sod off. If the FNSP gain seats it is because the people voted for them, they otherwise shall lump it like the rest of 'em.

As for consoling them, maybe send jets to Japan as being their friend matters more regarding the axis. Japan could physically aid us if things go real bad (looks pointedly at Uncle Sam) unlike any other axis major.

Following Nazi demands pretty much tilts all political discourse in Taricus' direction and directly excludes some of our other players. The political discourse is some of the best part of the game, so I would rather not.

Proposal: All in or All out.

Quote from:  Letter from forenian parliament to third reich
Dear hitler. we noted your proposal. However, as the british already discovered we are wary of foreign powers messing with our internal matters from far away. However, in the name of our alliance we are willing to let you make this proposal to the Forenian parliament either directly or through a suitably high ranking delegate. Clearly the follwoing debate and vote will follow Forenian procedure, of which you will be fully briefed. Armor is not provided, members of parliament should bring their own*.

However, on a kinder note we wish to inform you that the socialist party of Forenia has already been driven underground. Its members are rarely seen on the surface anymore, although we have problems with clogged sewers.

*The armor is not ceremonial. Bring a good one
