Avi's spell should take effect, in effect lowering the terminal velocity of the rock to survivable speeds.

The rock flew out into the air horizontally, but as it arced downwards, it slowed to a walking pace, drifting down the great height. After about a minute it became lost amidst the dim light and rocky background.

Further sample results: skin sample seems to mostly be lipid layers interlaced with polymer fibers. Still no genetic material detected. Organic status uncertain.

As soon as Avi casts the spell, the Traveler spreads his arms out and dives backwards off the edge of the cliff. "YEEEAAAAAAAAAH"

After several seconds of drifting upside-down, he looks back up. "Huh. Not as much fun as the ones that slow you down as you near the ground..."

Espada steps forward. Seems like an interesting opportunity for study. "I'll give it a go."

Resalth choffs at Koi's comment, but does not reply and simply steps in line behind No. "There is a certain honor in achieving things with one's own body, but I would appreciate it as well. This way is more elegant, too." He gazes down at the still upside-down Traveler floating about a hundred feet below. "For the most part..."

Espada shares that, given the breadth of individuals they observed during their time in the previous location, and their extrauniversal origins, they find it credible that these abilities could paranormal or at least operate on different forces. They will sate their own curiosity with this relatively benign instance. "For science!" they say, following No and Resalth after receiving the effect. No radiation or other emission detected. Will continue to monitor and record data during descent. Expression of hope that Koi will find some enjoyment in the climb down.
