Luna took a deep breath, as she watched the man go up in flames. She'd been prepared for this inevitably - much Academy work was dangerous - but that didn't make her first kill less unnerving. The man was going to gut you with the rest of them, she scolded herself, and let out her breath. Alright, sort out the feeling later, survive now.

"That's your spell, Burhardt? Interesting, I don't think I've seen anything that works like that!" she said, as her friend demonstrated. Take her mind off of what had just transpired. "Well... I guess I'm kinda obliged to do something new now, too, aren't I?"

She swapped tomes, to the more odd one from earlier. As she drew her magic, her hand was wreathed in... several things. Lightning, fire, and wind swirled around her hand and right towards the unfortunate adversary in front of her.
