So apparently they've voted on whether to give Greene the boot, and tally includes 11 republicans voting yes too. When you reach a double-digit number of your own party willing to kick you out, I think that's officially a sign you've fucked up.

Isn't she also the one that carries a gun in congress? Wanna bet she goes postal?

There are actually several (at least). Brief kerfuffle last week when Andy Harris of MD accidentally left his concealed-carry on his person and set off the detector, then tried to pawn the gun off on a colleague. (He later blamed staff for not reminding him he was carrying, which is. Yeah.)

It saddens me that there are people in this world that seem to think some arbitrarily chosen criteria mean they’re allowed to treat someone as lesser.

Part of me is kind of glad that they only removed her from committee assignments.  As much of a dangerous nutbar as she is, she did win her election.  The idea of the majority party nuking minority party seats they don't like doesn't sit well with me.

If not out of respect for democratic norms, then because at some point Republicans will be the majority again and every weapon you use on them will be used against you in turn, because that's where we are now, government-wise.

Expelling Congress members for treason has been a thing for a long, long time. It rarely gets used because you don't often have government members aiding and abetting sedition against the government.
