X-Com started in 1999. Right around the time we were transitioning into a presidency that wanted to find an excuse to send soldiers to a sandy, dusty place on the excuse there are weapons of mass destruction there, and just so happens they find a paradigm changing source of energy.

Hey, neat. Apparently some of the JFK assassination stuff got declassified/released/something-cause-I-haven't-actually-read-the-article-and-to-be-honest-probably-won't. Least looking at other folks talking about it, it seems like there's some interesting stuff in 'em.

Nothing really important. It is mostly just evidence that the CIA suppressed some evidence that Oswald was primarily motivated by the then-classified attempts to assassinate Castro, and that there was insufficient investigation into the possibility that Soviet Union helped to radicalize him.

The documents pretty baldly confirm that the CIA and other organizations never had any real doubt that Oswald acted alone, and was the person who fired the shots that killed JFK.
