Eh... high quality isn't something I usually see appended to "person". Worker, admin, CEO, chef, etc., etc., etc., sure. It can get involved with a lot of person related things fairly easily. But just person actually is a bit off.  Quality is for qualities not people, heh. It's english enough, it's just not something that I've seen much of from an english dialect.

Can sorta' see why people would avoid it even... it kinda' sounds less like a complement and more like evaluating a chattel slave. You can evaluate the quality of a skillset or an object without it getting iffy but when you're evaluating a person vis a vis what their relative worth is, you start getting a little odd. High quality long pork odd.

Hence why he's probably not going to face too many consequences for saying that.  Small town American needs welfare to limp along in its current state because its the main way that money enters their communities.  But as they see it they wouldn't need welfare if the dems would just let the GOP bring industry back by removing regulations.  And the country wouldn't be in so much debt if all those welfare queens weren't taking up like 1% of the federal budget for their tiny welfare and food stamp allotment.

This is an accurate statement.

Anyway, apparently representative Brad Sherman from California has filed an article of impeachment against Trump.  A waste of time at best, and counterproductive at worst at this stage, as it seems most of his colleagues agree.

I'm still highly skeptical that even the Mueller investigation will lead to his impeachment and conviction by the senate.  The only hope I have at this point is that his popularity remains low in general, so maybe he won't get reelected in 2020.  He hasn't eaten any children on the White House lawn in full view of the public yet, so it's still up in the air.

Actually, often as not, they genuinely don't understand that what they get is welfare. You see the same thing with public healthcare and insurance. The propaganda about muh socialism is genuinely that thorough. That's how you get situations like 'round here where tens of thousands of people insured through the state and ACA voted for a governor who promised to strip them of it, because they didn't recognized that their public coverage was "Obamacare".

They're not racist, just ignorant and stupid.

The racists are the well-off white folks going off about welfare queens &c., and believe you me, there's plenty of that behind closed doors.
