"Warning - while you were typing 22 new replies have been posted. You may wish to review your post."You know, all these leaks have painted an interesting picture of the White House. Earlier liberals were terrified by the various nominees, thinking they would face a storm of, well, you can imagine. I heard some conspiratorial types say that people like DeVos were intended to distract from people like Tillerson. But in fact, because Trump's White House is so at odds with itself,
Tillerson may already be underwater. Combining this with the details about Betsy DeVos opposing the transgender rescinding (Sean Spicer claims it was a wording disagreement, but who listens to Sean Spicer?), it paints a picture where people who were decried by liberals as part of the Grand Trump Agenda may be at war.
I think the real fact of the matter is that Trump's policy is, yes, essentially haphazard and make-it-up-as-you-go-along, and without a single vision he can't unite anyone behind it. So it's just a policy free-for-all.
Anyway, news from everyone's favorite Orange-American (no, not trump; John Boehner obviously, you racists). John Boehner hasn't been part of Congress for a while now, and apparently, he's decided to play Peanut Gallery. Notably, he's decided to go with two interesting positions:
Republicans won't repeal and replace Obamacare, and (don't have anything in your mouth when you read this)
: 'Trump may be the immigrant’s best friend'It caused a double-take at the Orlando health care conference — former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, Boehner’s opposite member onstage, asked, “Are you all right?”
