No changes allowed.

POWER is determined by your current energy technology; 4 with 'basic' tech, 6 with Thermonuclear, 8 with Cold Fusion and 11 with Antimatter Fission.

Note to Haspen, maybe also require silos to need tech before being built :P

This.

Because oh goodness do I see a ton of missiles being launched and a LOT OF WARFARE over technological advances :S
In a small map like this (...if this is MARS, then what is ANY OTHER MAP!?), there's a great disparity between tech speed and 'move your armies out and conquer//Missile Rain!'.

...It's also weird to see people being able to instantaneously do nuclear warfare when that already skews the turn order to 'whomever nukes first, wins'. :P In the least let there be some kind of limit/cooldown/other as it's like we have free nuclear access for forever.
But that 6 turn fallout will be very...well. :-[

...Unless this testgame was built for nuking others :V I just wanted to test the TECH! [In hindsight, going Democracy, Expanded, and Technocracy was the secondary build I had in mind -_- and was what I wanted to change to when I noticed 'the game started while I was asleep o_O')

No changes allowed.

Aw boots. :<
Also add that bit to the OP :P It's missing that!

And yeah, that's why I asked for the 'nation change'. I wanted to be purely tech-aligned to TEST this kind of shift from 'warfare focus' into tech focus, because it never seems like any EoD/M actually has people finishing out the tech.

...Unless you could the pioneer games where Toaster won very nicely :P

"Next time", he says as we all nuke each other NOW. :P
* Tiruin abstains and hugs her lab complexes I:

Also maybe instead of a T1 unlock, move it to T2, so it's in between "Martian Aeronautics -----[here]-------->Fusion Engines"
...Or give it a power cost (like 1 power or 0.5 power), as seeing the kind of warfare that may be available (we'll see it happen anyway :V), nuclear fallout seems or heavily comes off as more like a benefit than a detriment. >_<

And then Tiruin gets all the nukes, which makes no difference in her land color because it's all yellow green anyway. \o/ :P
Although it's a cartoon misconception that 'nuclear emission = green and glowy'. :P

Consideration \o/
Although I do miss the kitty emoticons; I found them pretty creative. :P

Also I ddn't notice the turn order being as before (by earliest nation coming up or in), hence my late post. Apologies for that!

Taricus pointed out that Missiles lack range info (although Fusion Engines mention raising it from 2 to 3).

Added proper info now ;v

I was secretly waiting to be nuked I like that news interview :3
...Wow this 'small' map has a big Mars then o_o Guess that clears the pros/cons of Fallout given the range. Still scary though, that the poles (N/S) can be a cluster of missiles :P Though I like how the layout balances that in a way.

But that can be very usable deterrent for a no man's land for conquering corps @_@ Whoever conquers first and gets both fortifications/nukes up can hold a spot if it's a line.

Ideas for post-testgame ruleset additions:

Quote
increase all techs by 1 level when it comes to RP requirements

So techs currently requiring 80 would need 120, 120 would now require 200, and so on, with Cybernetics taking 1000RP to research. Its because it's A) much easier to build infrastructure and thus Labs in EoM, and B) there is much more ways to get bigger RP bonuses going.

Quote
possible Mars victory condition: reach certain no-bonus tech and build a superimprovement in 10 turns
for example positronics and synthorganics would give you Psionics, which allow construction of Mindtower, which enslaves all enemy peeps, or a further step from Matter Transmission would be Space Fold which would allow construction of Gateway which lets you send troops anywhere on Mars in instant and thus insta-conquer all enemies :3

I guess the supertechs would require 1000RP each, and you would need about 10 Turns to complete the Superimprovements?

Thoughts? v;

We really need to test out TECH first before doing anything else :P
This seems cool and all--but none of the nations are tech-aligned fully to be able to test it :< (as in, extremes vs extremes). That and the whole idea of 'secondary power that provides but does not aim to win but also wins if its ally wins' goes alongside it--thinking about 'tech power + military power' in a way.
