I'm particularly bothered that there's a migraine splat on the ground behind us.  I mean, in similar circumstances that would be one's own brains.  I have no idea if that's an "eidolon," and it'd be strange since they seem more like entities instead of migraine-beams, but what do I know?

I'm just waiting for us to break our neck climbing back down!

Finally have a game completely ready. Wait a week before posting it out of laziness.

Get the hell back inside. Right now.
"Feelings that have always been there. Lurking below the surface of your mind." Yeah, right, fuck that. This isn't something that was inside you that got uncovered, it's something from outside. Something that wants you to feels like it's a part of you, but that's a lie. It's alien. PURGE THE ALIEN.
Try to bring the robot back in, too.
Seriously.
Inside good, inside safe?

Also just an idea, we know that radio bro (octavo) is supposedly coming to help us, from somewhere - this ashwood city place. As yet we haven't seen any other entrances than the cave one, and we're somewhat sure, i think, that we crawled in through there before (retrograde amnesia, strange white noise, fuzzy text bad things?) kicked us in the throat. My idea is that it's possible whatever is causing our thoughts and memories to be blurry (messing with our brain) could also be directly altering how we see our environment - at least out here who it seems to me like it's having the strongest force so far. So in all possibility there could just still be contiguous land there that we aren't allowed to see for whatever reason, maybe to keep us trapped in this cave complex? There is of course Octavo's mention of "What brings you to this dusty shard?" which could be taken to mean that floaty islands above brain melting static might possibly be the norm. The kid certainly knows more about what's going on than we do. I'll bring up again that he is probably coming to find us and unless there is a connection on the left side of the "island" or a connection deeper within the complex, I think he may be crossing what to him is normal land but to us a static ocean of murder.

Just an idea, though I would very much like to meet Octavo (there is the possibility that he is an "eidolon" and just wants to capture us or whatever, but hey that would just be too easy wouldn't it)

Return to the toaster-radio to confirm we are still there.
Just tell the radio-person that we don't want to be sitting around forever, waiting, and we want actual info.

Maybe apologize, too.

So hey. I'm back.

Are you still there?

Hana? Is that you?

Lands I was so worried. And I'm...

Look, I...

...I'm sorry for...

What, haha?

I couldn't hear you. We were talking at the same time.
You go first.

Oh, uh. Sure. Just...

Look. I'm sorry that I snapped at you.
I've been on edge. This has been pretty stressful.

Being stuck somewhere unfamiliar. No idea why. No clear purpose.
Heck, only remembering a few scraps of who I am?
It's been hard, okay?

But I know I shouldn't have gone off on you and...
You know.

You were trying to help me out. And I appreciate that.

Oh, Hana. It's totally understandable.

I'm sorry I didn't just tell you what was going on, too.
I should've been more sensitive to why you were upset.

After forgetting... losing yourself like that.
Withholding information, when that's the one thing you needed?

Sure I was nervous... but I absolutely should've known better.

Yeah.

I guess we both messed up here, huh?

I guess so, haha.
But hey, I'm glad you didn't leave.

Who knows what might have happened?

I guess you know the answer to that now, huh.

...what?

Oh. That conversation wasn't happening, was it?

Nice work alienating a potential ally, and getting yourself hurt. Again.

That's right.
You got angry, and left. Never went back.

Never said you were...

Honestly, what are you even doing, right now?
You're wandering blindly again, but by choice this time!
All because you didn't want to ask for help.

Do you want to get yourself more lost, or hurt, or something?
Are you truly so afraid to count on a stranger, that you'd risk...

...Mom?

Ugh, that's right. You're outside, with the colors and light.
And something just happened.

It felt like something... literally hit you in the feelings?
You wouldn't know how else to describe it.

It doesn't feel good at all.

Whatever that was, it dredged up a lot of raw emotions. Hard feelings. Doubts.
Important things, maybe? But the kind you've been trying not to think about.
Things that would probably mess you up, if you really thought about them?

Your resolve feels a bit thinner, every time you pretend those feelings aren't there.
Every time you pretend this situation isn't insane and terrifying?
But you've got to keep doing that, if you want to keep going.
And you need to keep going. Unless, you suppose, you're ready to just...

Ugh... focus Hana!
You'll figure this out. You can do this. No quitting yet!

To the left!
Entirely avoid looking at the weird sky, and look for
unique features or objects on the left side of this island.
I'm particularly bothered that there's a migraine splat on the ground behind us.
I mean, in similar circumstances that would be one's own brains.

You shake those thoughts from your head, and take stock of the area.
This plateau is pretty small. Just a stone ridge, jutting out from a cliff face to the Southwest.
It's pretty bare, but for some boulders that broke free and tumbled down from the cliff above.

Of course, you do notice a strange splatter behind you, which is new.
Whatever's going on with the sky out here... looks like some of it is on the ground now?

Just to be safe, you try not to look too closely at it.
You've had quite enough mindscrewery for one day. Enough for many, many days.

Inside good, inside safe?
I'm just waiting for us to break our neck climbing back down!

Well, you can't think of any more good reasons to be out here, right now.
But you can think of several good reasons not to be.
Not the least of which is this incomprehensible migraine garbage.

You're a little worried about getting hurt, climbing down from this ridge.
As you hesitate, Clax draws close to the ledge below, and gives you a reassuring nod.

What, are they planning to catch you if you fall?

Even though you doubt they'd be much help, the gesture is a little reassuring.
You hop down to a large boulder, and make your way down without incident.

Together, you step back into the sheltered shade of the cave.

You feel better already.

Might as well stop
This. Was not. Bolded. If this entity deigns to deform my thoughts, I must deign to destroy its soul. <BAD_UID> is the name name of an ally, but also the name of a traitor. Destroy. Destroy the external. Actualize yourself. A predator, it wishes to consume you. Defend this mind.

*Egan_BW, not Hana, shall attempt to murder the external influence. Burn the heretic.

It takes a long time for Soli to do these things, guys. :P Do not just leave a 'bump' as your post but make it contentful or feel free to ask her something in them.

Feel good and administer self-pats-in-thought about apologizing and having vented out, and had understanding in the end.

Stick with toaster radio and begin communications session.

Thanks for the gesture, Tir, but you don't have to moderate this thread. It's fine.

So long as they don't get out of hand, I don't mind bumps. You don't really need to do 'em though; I will update, and I'll tell you if that changes. Keeping non-content to a minimum in the thread is ideal!

Ooo ._. I didn't see it as moderating but more like a friendly boop. :P

But yes, I appreciate the bumps too. I can see that it's because I wrote it like 'do not' that made it different in meaning x.x sorry, my wording is messy. Thanks!

Well, we entered some sort of quantum state for a moment there. Go back to the radio for real this time, tell him how we got mentally hit in the head, and ask him if we'd want to pick up whatever fell out of our head. Also, whenever <BAD_UID> says something, think "ignore that very last part" to Hana, as a response/suggestion to Hana.
