Thanks for your patience and support, folks. I really do appreciate it. It's been kinda rough, but def. doing better now.
Anyway, for reasons up to and including my continued sanity, I'm hereby starting to take only to the most popular suggestion(s) per update. I'll consider suggestions with shared goals or themes as counting toward the same vote, and possibly will use other suggestions that work well with each other when possible. Also, I reserve the right to play favorites, if I really like one, or where it moves the story. Sorry to change things up abruptly... but I hope it's cool with y'all!
Basically, I want to shift toward smaller but more frequent updates. I'm still figuring how best to run these things, but the monolithic updates were making it harder to work on, less responsive (folks couldn't react to small changes that happened within an update, etc), and kept the schedule kinda irregular. The nature of Suggestion Games doesn't let me build up a buffer in advance, like folks with scripted Webcomics can do... the lucky ducks! I'm hoping that smaller updates are the next best thing. If it ends up being totally awful, we can always go back to big slow updates. In the meantime, if you like an old suggestion that didn't get picked, feel free to quote it again like some folks have been doing.
Also, though it's not finished yet, I will soon have a surprise to share with y'all! It's been in planning since early on, and in active development for the last week or so. Hope to roll it out before the end of the month... but for now, I shall say no more!
I see that the mysterious tree silhouette in the first post has been replaced with a full pixel-art image. Nice!
Hehe... yeah. I finally got off my ass and colored that tree. Perhaps some day, it will even grow into a proper banner for the thread!
Wood Would that I could be so productive~!
