Dar is still made out of solid metal, yes?  And the flightlizards don't have bone plating covering their necks, like the earlier creatures?  He'll still cast a weak buff to strengthen himself, as before, but will focus on drawing the hardiness of his environment into himself, toughening his metallic pelt even more.

Assuming both buffs are successful, he'll creep up on whichever flightlizard seems most isolated, and leap on it to bear it down.  Then he'll start trying to kill it, by biting the neck.  He's not going for a graceful kill, so much as a reliable one.

yeah touch of decay on the wall, on the dead end section.

Get ebony to wrap the silk lines around herself then haul her up, make sure touch of decay is disabled and then let my strength buff expire once she's up.

You do touch of decay, and the wall immediately begins to wither and rust. The whole beast begins recoiling from the decaying part, and you have to brace yourself as it begins to thrash about. Disabling decay doesn't stop the motion, and it looks like the beast is trying to close off and discard that hallway, like a salamander drops its tail. You are able to haul Ebony up, but it's going to be a squeeze getting you both through the rapidly shrinking opening into the decayed part of the hallway. One of those Indiana Jones moments. Or like, at the end of Terminator, when Sarah Connor and the robot are dragging through the steel press. One of you might not survive the trip, is what I'm saying.

Yes, do that.

((Any ideas for removing the moss? They're not technically a wound I don't think so Bind Wounds wouldn't help, Freeze evidently didn't, and I get the sense Touch of Decay would just kill Ebony...))
You are up there now, still coated in moss. (3) and getting disoriented. It feels like the moss is starting to infect you. You are starting to shake a bit and sweat. You can't feel your feet.

Oh! It's one of those mindless plant-animal hybrid things! Well, if I want in...
Shift to bluebell fairy and induce the creature to bloom. - unless I see something like say Cho decaying his way out of the creature. In that case I'll simply make happy giant cat noises at him and once he isnt dangerous to be near will help pull up Ebony. Possibly in Frost Giant form.
Well, youdon't see the decay. OOC, this is because the creature had retracted the limb that they climbed into, before replacing it with the one you followed. You do feel the creature begin to buck though. You shift to bluebell fairy and are immediately repelled at the creture. that's no flowering thing, for sure. It reeks of decay, rust, and corruption. in bluebell form, you find the idea of getting inside that thing to be utterly repugnant. It will require a will roll to even attempt, should you still choose to do so, what with it thrashing about like that.

The hunt is short, sweet, and effective. You take one down without issue, though much of the flock takes to the sky at the commotion.

((So my primary idea right now is to try and use Freeze to keep the opening... open, long enough for us to get through. +2 Magic and specializations in this sort of cast and ice spells are the main reason I think that it might work. Cho might need to carry Ebony though - I don't trust her Speed when she can't feel her feet. This seem decent?))

((Someday bluebell fairy will be good for something. someday...))
Welp. Unless I can see why the thing is thrashing about, I'll just fly out of the hole and shift back to Giant Frost Cat. And I do not want to go inside anymore, or at least do not want in in a uncontrolled manner.

edit: I flit around the creature, trying to discover why its acting up and staying back away from its thrashing or other threatened spaces.

edit: What CAN bluebell do other than perk up flowers anyway? Can it heal others?

((@Ozarck; can i please get a bit of description for the relative positions of everything in this hallway along with a brief summary of mine and ebony's conditions?
id like as much information as possible to make this decision.))

((@twinwolf; Freezing it certainly seems like a valid option to try and halt the speed the opening is contrating at, and im happy to drag you along if you dont mind the risk of not coming out in one piece.))

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

About the hallway: it was about ten feet long when Cho climbed up, and about five feet wide in both directions, so about the size of a phone booth or small closet?
Cho and Ebony are rather snug in there. There's not a ton of room to maneuver. Cho placed the decay at about the six foot mark, and it spread up and down about  two feet in either direction before he shut it off. Right now, He and Ebony are at the lower end o the hallway, Cho's lower claws dug into the sides less than a foot from the opening. the hallway is bowing in at the midpoint, and the lower half is constricting (currently down to about a three and a half foot diameter - enough room for you two vertically, but it's quite intimate), but the upper half seems to be remaining open. Active buffs are Ironskin and I assume you didn't deactivate strength, considering the sudden change of situation.

An opening did not appear in the hallway when you rusted it, but it looked like decay would do the work, given a little more time.

Ebony is practically coated in that moss, and it is clearly and visibly affecting her. Leaving her behind would quite possibly be a death sentence, even if you are planing on coming back for her quickly. You can't say for sure, not really knowing Ebony's spell list or if she is resourceful; enough to save herself, but it looks pretty grim for her at the moment, while Cho has avoided the worst of the effects and seems more capable of continuing to do so.

I think that covers everything.

So yeah. Going to have to do it - try to Freeze the hall (and not us) long enough for us to escape. +2 Magic, specialization in Spellcasting and Ice, don't fail me now!

((I really hope this works, I don't have any ideas for a new character :P ))

okay i so strength is still up, that helps.

Hook my tail around ebony, probably under the armpits,  so that I can drag her along without impeding my movement and maintaining the lowest profile.

Then make the mad scramble for the opening and force my way through with ebony behind me.
Make sure I get through intact, then turn and pull her the rest of the way through by hand.

If it looks like the opening will crush her, reactivate decay and touch the crap out of it whilst pulling her one handed.

if we escape medicalise the crap out of her, or carefully decay the moss.

Noir will eat most of the creature that dar offers her eagerly but would leave some for him to eat to make him be able to be at least a little fuller.
((Time for noir fluff eating))
Noir stared at the small creature...something was filling her mouth...salivia...noir...felt hungry it looked good strangely and she picked it up and ripped intonit quietly tearing it into chunks before quietly devouring it piece by piece sharp teeth flashing and gleaming. Noir licked her lips and swallowed quietly.

Eat a small portion of the creature, just enough to stave off hunger, then drag the rest of it back to Noir for her to eat.  Then just lay down next to her and rest for awhile, dropping any draining buffs.
Okay. Not going to return and stalk another one?

(1) Probably the ice affected it more than you realized. That or sharks.
All of a Bluebell Fairy's known powers are grass and flower related. maybe some bee-related, as bees are flower related. Still, not entirely useless, just ... waaaaaaay out of her element.

So yeah. Going to have to do it - try to Freeze the hall (and not us) long enough for us to escape. +2 Magic, specialization in Spellcasting and Ice, don't fail me now!

Well, it's all down to the dice now. We have two rolls to make: one for if your spell succedes in affecting the creature, and one for whether Cho gets you through the gap or not. Oh, a third roll, for Cho decaying the walls to keep you from being crushed. If either fail, you're toast, and should totally do a Barbarian Ogre, for your next character. Ora Voltron style construct. One robot, three subrobots. Or a being made of glass.

(2) Ice coats the walls, and shatters as the walls close in on it, sending shards at you. You scream.

Speed roll for you to get through and still act. (3) You get through. You hear a scream. You turn, all is ice and blood. And then the hole is sealed, and Ebony is gone. Well, fuck.

Noir will eat most of the creature that dar offers her eagerly but would leave some for him to eat to make him be able to be at least a little fuller.

not really fluff eating. You needed to eat to live. This gives you enough to go on. You can now probably travel.
