Wolfie is tall.

"What the fuck is your problem? Can you stop being insane for, maybe, five seconds?"

Considering Acair hails from Faderness, coldness is no object for him. He doesn't seem to be particularly bothered that she's angry and seems rather cheerful. He tries to restrain Anna by holding her back.
"Again, this is a simple misunderstanding! Violence is not the appropriate answer, my dear compatriot!"
"Medea. Yours?"
It seems almost as if she's reading from a script.

Veikko glances at the spine. The book spine, not a human spine, it's awfully early to be examining that kind of spine, even for him.

The spine seems to be blank. Whatever the book is, Medea took pains to keep people from knowing about its contents.

All this said in a completely calm tone, while still struggling wildly to get around Acair and/or Wolfie.

If Medea was paying attention to Veikko's crude remark, it doesn't seem to show in her almost stone-like mask of a face.
"Please, I doubt anyone would do so intentionally, my currently angered friend! Settle down and we can talk this through!"

And hold Anna back they need to, because she is now trying to throttle Osamu.  Acair feels like the very air has gotten colder around Anna.

She isn't even saying anything.

Osamu lets out a yowl as Anna attempts to throttle him. In a swift motion he transform back into a cat and leap underneath the table. He knows how to move fast when he needs too, obviously. "Animal cruelty! Animal cruelty!" he yells as he weaves in and out of everyone's feet. Even without Acair or Wolfie's intervention, it would be exceedingly difficult to assault Osamu like this.

Osamu feels something dragging at their movements...

"Please, I doubt anyone would do so intentionally, my currently angered friend! Settle down and we can talk this through!"

"You never met my parents."

Still struggling, however futile it actually is...

"Nobody gives a shit about your parents, okay? Doesn't mean you're allowed to murder them."

"No! I did not! I don't see why that has anything to do with me stopping you from strangling my feline friend, my seemingly troubled comrade!"
