We're going to get to the end of this and my character will have had carrots or references to carrots in something like 80% of his posts. He's supposed to be super paranoid about them, but I might be going overboard with it. Then again, the character is supposed to be overboard.

When the GM does not mention any actions I attempt to take in an update post, what course of action am I supposed to take?

Repeat the action, Quote the previous action, or if it is no longer applicable, make another action.

I think it would be best if I drop out of this game. My character was specifically designed for a kind of tactical stealth playstyle which I am now lead to believe this game is not designed for.

...I'm not going to encourage you to drop out, but I can't make you stay. Do as you wish

Can you think of a compromise that would have Sight beyond Sight work without tripling your workload or causing excessive spoilers?

It is a combat ability, so it obviously should provide more usage in combat rather than out of it.

Maybe add a passive bonus to resisting some types of blind and obfuscation.

Just my thoughts as a player.

Your character was designed for omnivision of their surroundings and trivializing every investigation of a new area. Drop the blindsight, pick another ability, give her eyes back. Fixed.

...If you really want the blind psionic thing, make it so it normally just functions like eyes. X degree arc in front of her head, can't penetrate more than 1mm of opaque material, can now detect color. In combat or tense life-or-death situations, it focuses into what we have now with some passive bonuses to dodge and hit.

Really though, I don't think you should drop the game, but playing that omnipresent-awareness blindsight straight is too much.

Rebalancing the ability isn't completely out of the question, but any such changes would need to be discussed with the GM as the game has already begun.

Edit: Though I do not like the idea of Pisci magically getting her vision back. Would the following ability be an acceptable replacement for Sight beyond Sight?

This change should limit any additional descriptions to "There's electricity in X direction". Unless of course Pisci is in a spaceship or factory or something.

EMF Detection (Passive): Pisci is unable to see in the conventional sense, but she is able to sense electricity within a ~25 meter radius around her, especially electricity produced by someone's brain, or nerve cells.

Oh right, it's worth mentioning that my character has not the slightest reluctance to kill, or the slightest fear of death (unless he likes where he is) given that he's from the Infinite Heavens and Hells, where dying just moves you somewhere else. At the moment he's likely just assuming he's been pulled into a weird one of them, and if he later founds out that it isn't one of them then he probably still won't care very much because he's an incarnated spirit.

@Supernerd Yah, that actually works perfectly. But if your in like say a 100% mechanized environment you'd probably be slightly brain-blown. RP that. But otherwise that sounds good

@UXLZ Yeah, i know. Dont worry, this is a gathering of fairly moral peoples.

My character is a wise scientist with moral scruples only limited to his peers.  He will ask the group he is a part of questions, and respond accordingly.

He is Immoral enough to make sacrifices on the altar of science, but smart enough to not do things that will get him scrutinized or killed.

The Rabbit is decently moral too, being the spirit of what was previously a noble he probably thinks he's the epitome of morality. =P

@SG That makes a decent amount of sense. I'm surprised his hasn't been wondering about the big metal woman, the sentient cube, or the talking rabbit a bit more, but I suppose the environment is a more pressing matter and he's from the FF10verse where those things aren't too weird.
