I'm not quite sure what direction I'm going to take, but I'm leaning towards very little to no morals, regardless of what other people think.

ROB? I can't really remember FF10 having many dreamscape horrors, though... Maybe Yunalesca.

Yeah, the Beau is super jaded on the weird-shit-ometer too. Infinite Heavens+Hells and all that, where pretty much literally anything goes.

Come to think of it, maybe I shouldn't have made my character incapable of swimming. He's probably going to fall into a lake at some point and automatically die because no one helps him. xD

Random Omnipotent Being, ala the game's opening hostile entity, and FF10 had basically 30% of the fiends and most of the things to do with Sin.

I suppose, but I usually think of dreamscape horrors as something lovecraftian, with tentacles and eyes and fleshy misshapen parts. Or Pride from FMA, shadows with teeth. Outside of the Sin-related stuff most of the FF10 monsters were pretty standard fare.

Generic Dude was pretty much a ROB by our party's standards, immune to all Abilities, including ones that should not really have counteractions.

Considering every monster in FFX is made of the corrupted remains of the dead made manifest through strange creatures, that puts them a bit out of the range of standard fair already.

Also, Malbouros, Sandwyrms, and a few others.

I suppose, but he struck me more as someone with an Everything-Proof Shield of Genericness than an omnipotent being, but considering we couldn't affect him in any way I suppose it may as well have been.

Marlboros yes, sandwyrms sort of. Yunalesca definitely (second and third form.) He's definitely a lot more jaded than the other humans, at least. =P

I'm surprised SG is turning the dude into a sphere immediately. I would have expected him to at least interrogate first.

He is a scientist, not a Fed. He neither cares about, knows the importance of, or has the skills to obtain intel of the Interrogative variety, and they are a drunk besides, of little value knowledge wise, and even harder to get coherent knowledge from.

True enough, but you're saying he has no interest in finding out more about the strange location they're in? Then again, he wouldn't expect a drunkard to reveal much anyway.

He will learn a great deal about this world from the spheres the drunk makes, and more importantly, learn a tiny bit more about spheres, which he theorizes tie into all forms of progress in every conceptual way. (Incorrect, but he doesn't know that of course.)

But yeah, in his mind, getting more spheres and information on spheres will help him in every possible way.

Fair point. I'm not actually sure he'll even be able to make spheres, to be honest, unless you've already cleared it with Porkins I can see the attempt just fizzling out.

Well, without Sphere creation, he is in a very poor position with a weak Stun, two weak nonlethals and Two utility skills.

He has the ability to make them in his sheet.

Sphere Creation: The user can create Spheres from objects, given time and tools.

Ah, yep. I see what you mean. If he accepted the sheet that means it's fine, then, though what constitutes appropriate time and materials may end up being up for debate. Depends on how much Porkins wants this guy to not become a shiny little sphere.
