Allum looks rather upset in his bubble.

"Hm... I never got your name, small one. I am known as Fredrich Faulkner!"

"I'm simply trying to offer you assistance. Save your anger for your enemies." With that, Nobunaga turned around with another flourish of his cape - though he didn't shukuchi away again, simply walking off with a confident stride. He heads back toward where the rival "king" had appeared.

Angelo flips him off as he leaves, walking reluctantly towards the tent.

The knight and Thiyr seem to be conversing. The knight seems to be growing angry once again.
"What do you know of my past?"
He smiles. "Tut tut. If you truly wish to know of such things, you should be prepared to fight me for it, knight of valor."
He grunts angrily, readying a fighting stance. Thiyr grins, spinning his sword about effortlessly.

"Uh... I don't know. Something that would make me tougher would be nice..."

He produces a blood-red amulet. It seems vitalizing even to just look at. "50 gold."

"Hmm.  I guess I'll buy it."

He slides it towards Mir, placing his hand out for his gold.

[TheBiggerFish]

"All right then."

Give the shopkeep the money.  Equip the item.

"Hm... I think we have something like that somewhere... a moment." He goes into the other room, again.

"You think so?"
Nagisa waits to see what he has in store. Meanwhile, she decides to settle on some kind of high-caliber revolver if things don't work out, as a sidearm.

"You sure I can't do anything to help?"

Nobunaga waves at the apparent schoolboy. "So, did you ever track down that illusion user?"

((Presuming this is taking place out of Thiyr's earshot.))

>"Illusion user? Wait, do you mean the guy I was talking to? Yeah. He's calmed down already. We were just discussing that Thiyr fellow."

"Ah, I see. I do wonder what he's playing at, appearing here. It's rather too much to assume it's a coincidence."

[Empiricist]

>"I'm more concerned that he knows more than us. By John's reckoning with him knowing more, we may have to just waylay outside of town to stand a chance, and I have a feeling that won't be happening."

"There's a good chance that he does. However, he is either playing around - which cannot be ruled out - or not nearly as powerful as he may like us to believe. Let me ask: why didn't he attack us? He does not seem to place a particular value on the safety of this town, which leaves only the explanation that he cannot defeat us alone. Unfortunately, he is exploiting our morality at this moment; I doubt anyone here is willing to sacrifice the people here in order to eliminate a rival early if there are more like him running about."

[Empiricist]

>"Hmm... good point. Unless another Fiend's holding his leash, I don't see why he doesn't attack right now. And it looks like Harmony summoned us too late, seeing as our foes have more information about everything. We might be able to confirm it by asking the shopkeepers here, I know the man in the tent doesn't like the Fiends that much."

Mawr puts her hand on her chin. "In terms of specifics... do you have, then, any variety of accessory that would be useful for deflecting or defending against ranged attacks?"
