The Dahnias seem to be in the best position to backstab us during our war with the Damdamians. The Kiwi and Parsia have just got outa or still are in a war (depending on if the Kiwi are still at war with the horsemen) so hopefully won't have a good chance. So, making nice with them well we can is a pretty good idea.

Between the gene-crossing being more than a little close. Especially given the case that we're closely related enough that we may end up with a horrible mutant as a heir. While politically it's a sound move in the short term, long term we're going to have some very horrid heirs.
