Tick 9.0: RampageFortuna has performed a number of lucky miracles throughout the lands.
Landria has solved the mystery of the kidnapped researchers. They seem to have gone on a surprise sabbatical in Anansi lands.
Xislo has at last completed the Leyline network. topping it off with a mana beacon continuously blasting a stream of mana.
Gandtrael has sent aid to brainfaithians. (Gandtrael: -3E)
Gandtrael, through incautious aid to brainfaithians, has been rendered incapacitated. The world will never know whether the mag-ferrets like magnet harp music (or what magnet harp music even is).
Frami responds to prayers:
A Hyrran chef has been blessed with a longer lifespan.
A Nautil swimmer has begun swimming up the connections between layer.
Arani borer: "Hooray!"
Fittingly, Arboria has received a gift of unusually large trees from Frami. There is much rejoicing, and many call for Frami to join in the festivities.
The agent of life has mostly eliminated piracy in the waters around Arboria.
Some strange biomes Frami found include crystal forests, fungus-based areas, permanent molten lava, and miniature forests.
Tree-guards have captured a selection of carnivorous plants, finding that unlike the previous mundane carnivorous plants, they have the strength to trap Arani and digest them. The Hyrrans attempt to contact the magma creatures, but they seem not to notice the Hyrrans' presence at all. They move very slowly.
Sadiq has offered to create a commune well outside city limits for those researching mind-drugs, and they accept. Productivity immediately drops off for some reason.
Sadiq continues to encourage technology.
The pirate-hunters report that they cannot wipe out the pirates, but that trade and piracy are at a reasonable equilibrium with enough trade getting through and pirates not being desperate.
Sadiq holds a science fair and sports competition. Most of the entries in the science fair are, predictably, model volcanoes.
The new magical creatures interact unpredictably with antimagic, suggesting that some are matter altered by magic while some are magic constantly altering matter. Also interesting is their interaction with magnets, which seem to harm those made of magic constantly altering matter more often.
Chaotic nodes simply seem to leak more magic.
Sadiq has deployed hunters to hunt the mag-ferretzillas, armed with the latest technology and magitech. Some disappear, with rings of magnets around their belongings in random patterns such as (NSNSNNSNNSNSNNS). One claims to have almost succeeded at capturing a mag-ferretzilla.
Sadiq encourages the use of mag-ferret parts in assorted crafts and productions, also bringing in samples of divine materials for research on replication and giving the researchers plenty of oil and mana.
Sadiq has turned a few mag-ferrets into Morridim, which look very different from mag-ferrets.
Mumuski has created Ketrumuski, a musical dungeon, and a unit of Musik warriors. (Mumuski: -4-14E) Mukiski has been delayed on account of being lethal to create at 14E.
Gandtrael has scattered the prisoners freed by Sadiq, including the Anansi. Gandtrael has also sent some Gandtraelites to help the mind-research of Sadiq and given the researchers a paper.
Productivity does not seem to change appreciably.
Mani sends all sorts of garbage to the Djinnmarket, but Sadiq manages to redirect most of the garbage to somewhere else. Sadiq has also spawned gold for stuff that needs gold.
Mani and Sadiq have a punching match.
The Anansi magician can indeed do real magic, but it does appear to be a new skill.
Gandtrael has made some poetic plants and poetry.
Ovorr has been struck down!Section One agents spot Death tearing off most of Ovorr and Landria grabbing the much smaller remainder and make known their
vile treachery, ineffectively webbing the gods! Something strikes the two from the shadows ineffectually, and Death vanishes with a chunk of Ovorr, as does Landria.
Tremors rock the Bubble as forests burn down, coasts flood, sandstorms rage across the lands, and even the civilized turn to murder, rioting, and supreme disconent.
A deeply unsettling gurgling emanates from outside the Bubble, and a blood-dripping, burning rock from elsewhere slams into the Great Ocean.
