((Agh, sorry.))

Check my tablet, react accordingly. Focus on avoiding threats- primarily the amazons, but if the tablet mentions anything else...

Turn 13: Meet Mr. Jones

INIT:
AbstractTraitorHero(41)
Whisperling(26)
_DivideByZero_(60+20=80)
Lina(80)

Smarts(5)
Quote from: Lina
Make sure there's nobody else on the floor. Other than that obviously not hostile evil butler robot.

Perception(2)

Lina and her minions spend the turn cleaning up their eyes. Because they can't seem to see.

Awaken and open the gate, bludgeoning Whisperling to death by surprise. Use Pseudo-Crisis to end the Amazon attack.

_DivideByZero_ springs up, awakening from his trance, gaining a +20 bonus to INIT and +1 to all physical rolls for this turn.

He then reaches within himself in a split second, and flips a switch that was off for good reason.

(Eight Gates: Opening Gate:
+4 to all physical rolls due to using the full capabilities of your body, taking it beyond what is normally allowed by your mind.
However, at the end of each turn, you must make a special damage resistance roll due to damaging your body with the power of the Gate.
In addition, after each of those rolls, you gain a -1 stacking penalty to future Eight Gates special damage resistance rolls.
Getting a 3 or 2 on this damage resistance roll results in the gate shutting off, a 1 or lower results in immediate death. All other rolls will have no effect.
After the Gate is turned off, it must cool down for a number of turns equal to the number of turn you were using it for.)

Cast Fist(4+4+1=9) vs. Precognitive Dodge(9+3-1-1=10)

However, as though Whisperling were warned in advance of the attack, he dodged, and succeeded. Barely.

_DivideByZero_ frowned. But, he had something else to do. He exerted his influence on another inner button, a different one than the first. And a crisis was resolved.

Spoiler: Potential Results: (click to show/hide)

Luck, Mate(1) ((well shucks.))

Inspiration(Arbitrary Mission Restriction, Circling Birdies, The Cape, A Degree In Useless, Sapient Tank, Psychologist Teacher, Gameplay Roulette)

Spoiler: Heh Heh Heh (click to show/hide)

Doctor Edward Jones has been added to the game. And he's dealt with all the Amazons.

Roll to come back brah then possess my butler's body.
Return From the Grave(3+2=5)

AbstractTraitorHero grabs hold of life. But she's slipping. (May try again next turn, but without bonus to soul magic)

((Agh, sorry.))

Check my tablet, react accordingly. Focus on avoiding threats- primarily the amazons, but if the tablet mentions anything else...
Done.

~~~
Eight Gates Damage(9+4=13)
_DivideByZero_ feels the damage being dealt to his body by the Opening Gate, but doesn't fall to it yet...
Shut off gate, offer free medical services to Dr. Jones.
((If I got a five shouldn't I have fully revived instead of well...what happened.))
((Simple enough: this game runs on a d10 system. You got 5 out of 10, which isn't an outright fail, but not a success either. It's leaning towards fail though, which is why you got to try again, but without your bonus.))
I figure at some point, you're just gonna run outta fucks to give and just off yourself whenever you get hurt at all. It's not like there's any downsides to it. Hangover? Suicide will fix that. Stubbed your toe? Suicide. Headache? Suicide. Papercut? Suicide.
Keep dodging anyone who might attack me, and explain to doctor Jones that I'm just kind of sitting here and trying not to die (thus doing my best to avoid a reality-damaging paradox).
Turn 14: Thought it was dead, didn't you?
INIT:
Doctor Edward Jones(91)
_DivideByZero_(36)
Whisperling(12)
AbstractTraitorHero(58)
Quote from: Doctor Edward Jones
Um... okay. Nobody up here. How about I head downstairs?
Doctor Edward Jones goes downstairs.
Revive do whatever is nesscary.
Soul Magickery(2)
AbstractTraitorHero tried to cling to life. But her soul was simply too achey, and she passed away. Mostly. (may haunt a player of your choice to give them -1 to their next dodge roll, once)
Sorry, it got buried.
Shut off gate, offer free medical services to Dr. Jones.
_DivideByZero_ quickly realizes the potential effects of leaving the Gate open, so he shuts it off.
Diplomatic Action:
"Uh... hello. Would you perhaps like some free medical services?"
"Do not think you can deceive me, evildoer. I was sent here by the great and powerful Null Nevermore to remove all villains within this area, and was specifically told that there would be no non-villains present."
Oh dear. Blast it, Null. Looks like you're going to need better diplomacy.
Keep dodging anyone who might attack me, and explain to doctor Jones that I'm just kind of sitting here and trying not to die (thus doing my best to avoid a reality-damaging paradox).
Diplomatic Action:
"Uh, I'm just kinda sitting here and trying not to die, which would cause a time paradox..."
"Don't worry, I don't kill. Just stun and throw and prison."
...looks like you're going to need better diplomacy.
((By the way, the reason Doctor Edward Jones now has 12 Trope Points to give is that Abstract perma-died, giving her points to Lina, and Lina was defeated by Edward Jones. So Abstract's points ended up going to Doctor Jones.))
Point out that it's kind of hard for me to close the loop if I'm paralyzed and stuck in a jail cell.
