So in thread relevant news, Trump has revealed his economic team - and they're almost all fucking billionaires and CEOs.
The announcement comes ahead of Trump's planned economic policy speech in Detroit on Monday. Trump is slated to detail personal and corporate tax cuts as well as energy and health-care policy changes aimed to boost American economic growth.
He has just destroyed his own "not on the pockets of corporations" motto, by literally employing the top corporate scum to do his economic policy!
BTW, he's going to release his economic plan on Monday I believe, so, lets see what he gives. And yeah, I found it rather strange (but not entirely surprising) that he went and filled it with bankers, oilmen, and real estate people.
It also destroys his argument that he cannot be bought and isn't beholden to anybody, by hiring those bankers, oilmen, etc, actually, no, he probably destroyed that when he became a pawn for Putin.
edit: In other news, Republicans have gotten over their fear of the gays enough to start Feeling the Johnson
Actually, that would look better if it were a politician who was running for re-election, the person who endorsed Gary Johnson is retiring this year and thus, has nothing to lose politically.
Also "Rigell added that he would remain a Republican unless the party became permanently associated with views and policies espoused by Trump, in which case he would become an independent instead." He'd better go independent right now because it's becoming pretty close to that. Then again, the Republicans destroyed their own reputation years ago.
