Mmm flavorful magic juice.

I do find it funny that the person wants to literally make their character "Year Man" who gains super powers but once a year.

I put up a poll for when chapter one should end. Regardless of what's picked it'll probably take several updates, so don't worry about a year being too short or something like that.

Single vote for decade is mine, because apparently I thought it would be a good idea when I put up the poll.

You can do a lot in a year, especially if you're not traveling in the wilderness (which I expect is Chapter 2).

I think it worth mentioning that my last game took about 4 years and by the end of that I was murdering Raubritters for fun. Hopefully things will be balanced out when people die, hopefully. If not, I guess I'll have to summarize how the party killed ten dragons and the Queen of England in a single year.

Well I thought it was permanent. Though the mental image IS fucking hilarious.

Finished playing through the first month or so. Managed to get myself roped into a dungeon encounter that I've never been through, so that probably had something to do with how little progress I made. Have I mentioned that I hate the dungeons in this game enough yet? Can't emphasize enough the massive blemish they leave on this otherwise good game.

Anyway, if you wanted dwarves Part 1 should satisfy your desires twice over. Should be posted sometime on Wednesday or Thursday.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I skipped it in the update but I got Felix of Nola from Freiburg, so go look at him if you like.

Also, despite the votes for decade I'm probably going to end the chapter every one to two years. It'll be better this way, trust me. Or don't. I'm not your sovereign.

Alright, for those that have characters: are you fine with dying soon and for stupid reasons? If I do go after a dragon at this point most of you are probably going to die.

At least get us some fireproofing before taking on the Dragon.  Either a Saint can give this, or my character can learn an alchemical formula.

That was my plan. I think you can buy potions from alchemists too? Not sure on that one since I've never needed to do it.

Pretty sure you can, if Glory beckons so strongly that you can not wait.

Welp
Guess "The Voice of God" is gonna end up roasted in a dragons stomach.

Pretty sure I'm the MOST likely to get ate in the party, but hey why not?

Jack is slightly weaker, but that probably doesn't matter considering the stats of a dragon.

Censored to protect the rights of monsters everywhere. Dragons are actually pretty shit now that I look at them. The chainmail we got from Stuttgart is 35 quality and their puny little baby arms are quality 25 and even Jack has better weapon skill than them.

In that case, I believe the more pressing question is: are these dragons even worth our time?

Is anything worth our time? Really, at this point we've already won the game; why not just start up an LP of Stainless Steel and crusade our lives away?

I will say that the cluebook lied. The dragon's arms were able to ignore Hanse's full-plate.

Anyway, sufficient death happened so if any of you want in you should probably post a character before next Sunday.

Edit: added a link to the manual in the OP. Should contain all that I didn't explain, and if it doesn't I can probably upload the cluebook to dropbox or something.
