You obviously don't remember the Sims 2 thread.  While it had a very small amount of content, it was mostly hype and tangential discussion.

This LP isn't going to actually start until Autumn, Winter, or perhaps even next year. I'm doing this early so I can get characters early and grind through the early-game over a longer period of time. Otherwise I'll probably get burnt out on the game very quickly.

Somehow I doubt that will be the case, not until Autumn or Winter anyway.

But it isn't tied!

One of the tied categories is "Insert your victory condition here", which could be interpreted as adding to any other category.  Therefore, it is not tied, and you must start IMMEDIATELY.
