Of course it would only affect the Gods present on the current World. So everyone's max capacity would be averaged, and 20% of this would be given equally to everyone. Plus a flat amount determined by myself right ?

Also, I will initiate a Timeskip soon seeing many gods are out of Ether. You will be able to choose the duration of the Timeskip.
From Short, Medium, Long, Very Long.

A shorter duration will incur less Tech/Social development, but will greatly reduce your chance of being forgotten/of beliefs changing.
A longer duration will incur more Tech/Social development, but will increase the chance of being forgotten/of beliefs changing.
And of course, shorter= less Ether, longer= more Ether

Of course, all the above assume the people is bare naked. Be creative to set up some thingies before sleeping, your actions and choices will influence how the civilizations will develop...
