Apart from the fact of directly starting at a higher divinity stage, which in itself is really a huge advantage.
For those whose god survived, even if you start anew I may grant you a small bonus.

Well depending on the form.

crazyabe is right, the Alt. Form only get 1 bonus.

Those are subject to some changes, but overall it should give you a good idea of what to expect.

How would a smart non-sapient creature compare to a dumb sentient creature? How about genius to dumb?

Very good question, I actually didn't think of it. In my mind for this RTD, Intelligence is somewhat connected with Sapience.
First, non-sapient beings can't be given a very high intelligence.

For non-sapient beings :
-Intelligence level is limited at "Normal"
-Default is at "Dumb"
-Above normal, the being automatically attains Sapience. [With associated cost forced onto you haha]

For sapient beings :
-No limitation

Now, what will differentiate a sapient-species from a non sapient one ?

In game terms, the main difference is that a non-sapient one won't form a civilization, and will only get Survival Rolls during Timeskips.

Then for more deep reasoning, I am currently writing another post.
