Could you give more information on how the Eldritch horror part of the game will play out please?
No.

Is this FCFS?
Yes. Please form an orderly queue. We will try to get your mind flayed as soon as inhumanly possible.

Can we create female characters due to the diverge of history and eldritch forces? :P
I was waiting for someone to ask so that it wouldn't be my fault. Yes you may.

Edit:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Humans only in this game. It's racist, I know.

Pfff, looks like the Shoggoth Justice Worriers made it to bay12 already. Its 1915! The only right anyone has is to get shot in a trench. #MortalLivesMatter

Actually, only white men had even that right. Black men, women, and Eldritch abominations weren't allowed to die in the glorious battles in the trenches.

For the most part I wasn't. I'm actually not very educated on WW1 outside of the trenches. Except for Turkey siding with the Germans and the fighting happening in that area. I was also joking in part as I said IN THE TRENCHES.

Well, there were certainly Indians who fought in the European theatre... being British I mostly know about the usage of Indian soldiers over other nations. The Harlem Hellfighters also saw service in Europe, where they participated in battles mainly alongside the French.

But I'll stop going on about it now. :P

Well it was a "World War". Did you think that just meant Europe and Turkey :p? The "white guys killing white guys" front was the biggest, the Western Front, but there was fighting pretty much all over the Old World. They had trenches too, just not as much fighting there.

No. I was transferred to another school last year when we were about to cover it in great detail. I got to my new school, they had already covered the bulk of WW2 and the beginning of 'Nam. All I have is the endless internet, a few fictional books taking place in this time, and some previous knowledge of the warfare in the trenches.

^^This is canon now. Except he wasn't Norwegian, he was British. More racism I know, but I can only make so many concessions before history grows tentacles and crawls out the window. And we'll say the yacht had supplies on it or something rather than troops, because if I were a soldier I would bayonet the man who drove me toward the tentacle monster.

Sosoku, GigDes, adwarf, and Stirk are on deck. I skipped ATHATH for what should be obvious reasons and Tiruin because I don't want to wait all day to write the first few turns. I'm allowed to do it tho 'cause she's my friend.

You're on the Stapleton, having just witnessed the destruction of the Prince of Wales. You're about half an hour from the beach near Gaba Tepe. How do you react to what has just taken place?

"B-by God... what was that?! By God!"

It was too far to swim, and no mortal man would have a rifle that would injure such a monster. By god, what to do?

In spite of this, you overhear a few men from your section talking about swimming to shore. "Maybe they only want the bigger ships, maybe we're better off in the drink." One agrees. "I'm a good swimmer. I could make it if I left my rifle." Most of the others are ignoring them but the small group seems to be convincing one another.

Take a shot at the eye of the beast!

"WHY WON'T YOU DIE!!!?"
You shoulder your way through to the railing and fire your rifle in the direction of the monster. There are cries of pain and surprise. "Have you gone mad?!" The men around you do not appreciate you firing a few feet from their heads and some of them seize you. "Who in the bleeding hell is shooting?!" Sergeant Blair somehow parts the crowd and appears behind you. The others release you and he grabs you by the hair, knocking the hat from your head, then yanks the rifle from your hands. "You bloody child, West! I ought to throw you in the drink!" He shoves you against the rail. "Fox, Peters!" He bellows, and the two privates present themselves. He jabs a finger at you. "I'm holding you two responsible for this man. See he doesn't embarrass himself any further. There's enough insanity going on as it is. And make sure he gets this back after we land." He shoves your rifle into Fox's arms.
