Sub-Turn 68.06:
Durst the Rock SeerDurst strokes the rock mole.
"Such a viewpoint will only breed death and war. I understand where you are coming from, but disapprove. Monsters and humans are not so different.
Shall we prepare to travel?"
Durst is ready to travel.... once he gets out of the hole.
Before you get out of the hole, Gardo asks :
"What are you going to do with this rock mole ? You can't bring it with you if you intend to follow us."
Hertomal threw a rope down, as he stayed outside.

Caedan the Bloody Impaler"Perhaps Firande has monster blood as well? No other explanation makes sense."
Make sure nothing bad happens to my companions. Explain whatever needs to be explained.
You check on them, they are okay and the symptoms shouldn't last long. You let them rest for a bit, and set a small camp nearby.
Ramas is still feeling disoriented, and Firande still wants to puke her heart out. They don't seem to be in danger, and you don't really know how to help them feel better. You don't remember being a doctor sadly.
You explain your theory to them, that Firande may have monster blood in her veins. Of course, she is dumbfounded.
"How could we verify your claim ?"
She asks an obvious question.

Gray the Metalslinger and Glint the True ArcanivoreRest and heal.
Rest. Maybe ask Vagush more about the Radasars, since we do not, in fact, know much about them.
Gray:
[5] In this peaceful oasis, you find a nice spot under a palm tree and recover, gazing at the moon.
You recover 6HP
This moment of respite allowed you to better hear and feel the changes in your body. The elemental energy is coursing wildly, trying to take form. When you close your eyes and listen to the wind, you feel like you can see colors appearing in your mind.
You deduce the following elements are currently in your body : Earth, Light, Fire, Ice and Shadow.
You don't really know what it means, as you are no specialist in elements. But you know they are here.
Brown is sleeping soundly next to you. You realize what a journey it have been since you left the castle. And it seems like just the beginning.
Tirim is cuddled to brown, sleeping too. His core is shining a little.
Glint:
[2] Having just woken up forcefully, returning to sleep is difficult. Your core still works to restore your body, as you can feel a warm feeling emanating from it. Sometimes it even feels like this core is speaking to you in your dreams.
"Thank you…"
A familiar voice, you suppose this maybe some remnant of Tirim's father personality. It wouldn't be farfetched to imagine those core could store their mind or something.
You recover 2HP
Anyway. You approach Vagush, who is drinking at the oasis pond. You then ask him about Radasars.
He stands back up, having quelled his thirst. His massive body is shining in the moonlight, which combined with his crimson eyes make him look pretty intimidating.
"I don't know much about the Radasars, apart from the rumors of the Desert. Usually, Radasars are bipedal red reptiles known for their melting venom and high body temperature.
But I heard from wandering monsters that we should be wary of the Radasars. It is said that abnormal Radasars have appeared since a few months, like the "Super" variant. The one who told me about this was deaf, and bleeding profusely, fleeing through the tunnels. He died not long after, his internal organs were turned to paste.
They were already a social species before, but it seems they are even more coordinated and united than before."

Ulkas the Sorcerous Osyluth of LiesUlkas nods solemnly, sharing Astrosa grief:
"Though I didn't knew them in life, I'll make sure to remember their names. They were brave and desperate enough to stand against Malderuine and to save you from his grasp. And you, in turn, saved my life more than once since our meeting... I'll make sure that Malderuine suffers when the time comes."
He paused a bit, looking over the nodus and tree growing in its center.
"... Say, Astrosa, what do you see here? I'm sure that this tree-creature serves as a power accumulator, yet I'm not certain if it is a biological construct, mindless monster or intelligent being."
If the tree attacks, observe its actions and act accordingly: acid it or try to body-control. If it is intelligent, inquire it about why it grows here and how can it access nodus power. If neither, study it and try to learn its purpose and how it attracts power.
You observed the strange tree. It stood motionless.
Astrosa: [2]
"It's alive and pulsing with power, but nothing much it seems." said Astrosa, having used her Eyes.
[5] You approached the tree and nothing happened. The tree didn't retaliate, or even move or show any sign of caring about your presence.
But as soon as you touch it, a voice echoes in your head :
"What do you want disturber ?"
You answer that you wish to inquire about why he is growing here.
"Growing in power of course. I am making the power here mine, and the priestess won't be there to stop me for once. I have to thank you for taking care of her, I heard from the other spirits."
As you converse, you realize the tree is akin to a cocoon. The true being you are talking to seems inside it.
Astrosa is still in the air, far from there. She shouts :
"Found anything interesting ?"

T946 the Security BotBlock the armored golem attack with the shield them taser it
[1] vs [1]
The Armored Golem raises his hand, and deliver a lightning fast punch in your direction ! You raise your shield, ready to block the punch. As soon as the punch connects with the shield, an unexpected reaction occurs.
Insight first. The "shield" you strapped to your arm was in fact not a shield, though you didn't know.
It was what is called a "Golem Tablet", basically the battery and power source of very large artificial constructs. Why it was lying around here is a mystery.
Despite the tablet lying around here for god knows how long, it still retained a lot of its magical power. When the punch of the Armored Golem tore a hole through the Tablet, all this power was released.
You saw a blinding blue flash of light and a deafening sound.
T946: [3]
Armored Golem: [5]
As you were both at the origin of the explosion, it was a test of resistance to see who would take more damage.
Of course the armored and tall golem was better prepared to raw blows, while your smaller and less reinforced body would with no doubt suffer from the blast.
The explosion threw you at the other side of the room, severely damaging your right arm.
You lose 5HP
The Golem on the other hand resisted the explosion, and the actual magical energy stored in the Tablet was absorbed by its own but smaller Tablet ! Empowered and its energy restored, the Golem movements became suddenly faster.
It also seemed a tad different.
You immediately stands back on your threads, and advance to get in range of the Armored Golem.
[5] vs [1]
Firing your taser, you aimed at an old crack in its armor. Once it connected, you sent a jolt of electrified mana into the Golem.
You lose 5MP
Thanks to the air charged with magic residues, and the Golem itself being full of still unstable magical energy, your attack was magnified and wasn't a taser anymore. Another brief flash of light appeared for a moment.
When it ended, the Golem was moving erratically, some of its internal circuits being charred and its magical power source being disrupted.

Dahak the Fear LordWhile some peace and quiet is nice, all this infinite flow of inconclusiveness is annoying.
So uh, now that everyone is fine and we haven't come up with anything, I think we should prob leave. Mysterious chalet of mystery will remain mysterious for another day.
This is disappointing, but hey, at least everyone is rested, and Dahak is still curious about that omnious smoke in the distance. It has prob dispersed by now, though.
He does wonder, though. Do death fairies need to eat? I mean, Delinde seems to have an ungodly obsession about apple pie. Fairies have always been annoying spirits, so Dahak doesnt doubt she has prob stolen a few out of unsuspecting peasant windows more then a few times.
Depart from chalet. Get back on the cart and continue traveling. At least Nihil isn't naked anymore.
You depart from the eerily normal chalet. It was nice being there, but your fate is elsewhere.
You look in the direction of the ominous smoke. The smoke is now a faint trail in the night, it is barely visible.
Then you properly leave, waving goodbye at this strange place. Thanks gods there wasn't some masked dude with a machete hidden behind the curtains. You wonder why you though about that.
The night is not calm at all. You hear rustling and see many lights moving, and Delinde is even saying that troubles are brewing. Oh, and she gained enough "Favor" from her master, Death, thanks to the two souls she sent. She is very happy because of this.
[6] You walk around, and see a towering being made of transparent substance on the road, preventing the cart from passing. It is dwarfing trees, but seems to be turning its back to you. It is walking slowly in your direction.
"I think we should avoid attracting this giant attention. He is not a target and he is so tall it's pissing me."

Snehk the Cursed Illusion WeaverAlly with AAUA against humans, strenghten it by unlife aura.
You side with the towering armored undead. It is walking slowly, with a heavy and slow pace.
It is still staring at you and the humans with its unique eye.
[4] You increase your unlife aura, intending to strengthen the towering armored undead. It won't strengthen it though, it will only increase the power of Unlife effects such as spells or attacks.
You lose 3MP
Human rolls :
Jarod: [5] vs [2]
Loeso: [5]
Jarod lets out a roar of rage as he turns around, using the momentum to slash at you with his sword. Focused on strengthening the Unlife Aura, you react too late and the sword cut cleanly across your chest, opening a gaping wound.
You lose 7HP
Loeso screams as he attempts one last time to resist the Whispers. He manages to chase the spell away, avoiding the mind collapse.
By this time, the towering undead arrived near the three of you. It stares successively at you and the humans. And it just stand there.
Figures Roll : [4]
Two humanoid figures emerge from the right side. White and metallic, they look like skeletons fused with an armor. You can't tell the difference between bones and armor, making it appear nimble and sturdy.
Metalbone Swordsman: [3] vs [1]
Metalbone Lancer: [5] vs [1]
They are running incredibly fast. The first one seems to have a blade made of bone fused with steel instead of a right lower arm. The second one has a left arm looking like a lance, while its right arm is a buckler, both of "bonemetal".
The swordsman twirls on itself, executing an impressive full arc slash. Jarod, having not seen the coming figure, fail to dodge and get slashed in the side. He only survives thanks to his impressive constitution. The blade is lodged deep in its body, reaching the spine.
The lancer is equally swift, and launches itself forward, thrusting with its lance. The strike is extremely clean, piercing the head of Loeso cleanly.
Armored Undead Abomination: [6] vs [3, 3]
At this moment the immobile undead reacts, and turns toward the two bonemetal warriors. It execute a wide sweep with the goal of projecting them away.
They both are too busy to dodge the attack, and they take the full brunt of the impact. One ends up crashing in a cart, while the other rolls a dozen time on the ground.
The sweep is so wide it is also going to hit you and Jarod :
Snehk : [6]
Jarod : [2]
Jarod gets thrown away like a ragdoll, and there is no need to check him to know he is dead. The sole impact made him bend like a stick after all.
As of you, you jump away to dodge the sweeping, and lands on a sword that was lying here.
You lose 2 obligatory HP because it would be a shitty death otherwise
