"I might take one. It looks like you guys have taken care of the fire, and Jojo, Coleman and the Captain have things mostly under control over there."

Nataria hands Alf a tablet, and observes.

[2] The pill has no immediate effects. After a minute or two, however, it is clear that something is happening to his eyes. Alf looks around quickly, as if confused.

"Why does it look as if I'm looking through an infrared camera?"

Trait Get: Infrared Vision - Can now see sources of heat. Replaces standard vision. Unintended side effects may include sudden bursts of color, and eyes turning bright red or yellow.

Nataria says nothing. Instead, she simply offers up a different tablet.

"Why not? It's not like I've got anything else to do."

[6] Alf's legs begin changing shape and color, and appear to grow scales. They appear to be turning into the legs of a gecko, and a low hum is heard.

"Well, I guess I'm turning into some wierd lizardman. Cool."

Nataria nods, then returns to her quarters. She finds the mouse and feeds it some more tablets.

[5] Jojo rips the hose off of the mech, and it either had a failsafe or had very little fuel remaining, as only a trickle of fuel come out of the hose.

[2] Jojo takes a fist full of pills, and his hands begin to ripple. In a large spike of pain, he can feel his bones breaking and rearranging. If he focuses and flexes his arms, he can bring out claws between his knuckles.

Trait Get: Bone Claws - Can extend and retract, although a willpower roll is needed every time due to pain.

[2] The mouse dies, and a few more mice appear nearby. They are standard white mice.

Nataria puts the mice in a cage. She continues feeding them random tablets.

[4] One mouse grows a small pair of wings. While it can't fly, it's obvious it would probably glide.

[2] Another mouse appears to have grown fangs, although it's obviously in pain when it closes it's mouth, presumably from biting through it's own bottom lip.

[6] One of the other two mice appears to have gotten half way through converting into a lizard of indeterminate species, and then stopped. It's slightly horrific to look at, but otherwise appears to be fine.

[3] The final mouse appears to be coughing smoke; the lizard-mouse gets near it, and continiously bugs it. After about a minute of this, the final mouse breathes a small puff of fire. This would be impressive, if it didn't appear to be deadly.
