[6]The liquid has no immediate effect on the mouse. After around 30 seconds, however, it begins to change colors in waves, as if someone is putting it in a tie-dye mixture. Quite fun to look at, and probably entertaining to give to people on acid, but otherwise harmless.

I'm having fun with this, you should keep making pills :P

Oh, and Tom quit, so I've taken temporary control of Alfred. If someone is silently lurking and would like to take him over, feel free.

Nataria leaves the mouse in her quarters. Now distracted by the potential of creating mystery drugs, she synthesizes more tablets out of random chemicals.

[6] Nataria manages to make a rather large assortment of pills, varying greatly in size, shape, and color. Who knows what might come of taking one of them?

The fire is being beaten back, and appears to be dying down; with luck and a bit of effort, it should be out soon.

Probably a turn or two until it's totally out.

Douse the fire with due haste!

No blazin' inferno is gonna take me ship! Not while I can stop it!

((I'm cool with continuing the adventures of the worst spacefarers to ever hijack a ship :P))

<<I think spacefarers is a bit generous, given what's happened :P>>

<<Also, fire's getting boring. Let's be done with that, shall we?>>

The last of the fire is beat out, and nearby, Coleman, Jojo, and the Captain discover a mech with what looks like a flame thrower built onto it. It looks to have some kind of note inside, but reading it would involve climbing into the cockpit, and the thing looks to be on.

Meanwhile, Alf wakes out of his trance-like state, with a gasp and a mild headache, which fades quickly.

What've I missed, guys?

"We be in luck me hardies! This metal man must have the fuel we need!"

Grab my sword and use it to disconnect the fuel hose on the flamethrower and dump the fuel into my bucket

((I know this is a terrible idea, someone stop me))

<<It's either going to burst into flames as soon as you knick the thing, or you're going to hit a metal casing and possibly break your sword. Either way, not good for you.>>

Metal man? What? Nataria, is the Captain drunk again?

How did we find the mech, exactly? Was it standing when the flames died down?

"I think this thing's responsible for all our troubles!"

"Shut up and do it already."

Nataria switches off her comms. She searches the ship for anything useful.

[5] The Captain hits the fuel hose. Luckily, his swords is plastic, so all he does is scratch his sword a little. Upon closer inspection, it appears it had a strong metal casing around it, possibly to defend from attackers. Or possibly to defend from crazy starship captains; who knows?

[2]Nataria finds very little of note. Some old junk, a few scraps of plastic in metal, but nothing of much importance.

Alf gets up and decides to go outside to see what the commotion is all about. Along the way, he sees Nataria looking for junk, and her rather large assortment of unlabeled pills, which he decides not to touch.
