Can I take the ministry of agriculture.
Yes; you may begin acting as minister of agriculture effective immediately.

Dropping by to say that I don't think anyone is paying the doctors, even though that was explicitly brought up in the turn.

If the doctors are true revolutionaries, they'll soldier through.  For Apland!

If not... they may require some re-education.

Nearly done with the turn; would be finished by now, but my sister's visiting. Actions are just about completed, so once I have an hour or two to work on it the turn'll be posted (likely late tonight or tomorrow).

Excellent.  I'm excited to see how I will mismanage my ministry this time (I'm thinking personnel problems).   ;)

I plan on telling the citizens all of the wonderful things Apland does for them and teach them to be patriotic.

Quick question, if you don't mind: was the $115,000 collected by the MoAD forwarded to the MoCaG, and then disbursed to ministries per the Budget Act?  Also, how was the income meant for newly non-existent ministries distributed?

Also... does the Ministry of Truth pay its workers poorly?  I thought it might have been said that their wages put them below the poverty line, but that $35/day was appropriate for a middle manager, so not sure.

The $115,000 was collected but not (yet?) distributed by the MoAD; it has not been forwarded to the MoCaG, so none of the tax income was dispersed as per the Budget Act. You pay your employees decently. Most of the discontent was targeted at the MoAD paying people $10 and $15 a week.

By the way, Aigre and Liber - you two are now in the game.

Another thing, gents: if you change your actions, please note when/what you changed. I ran into some trouble with the turn when, after calculating the actions, it turned out that the MoAD had changed most of their actions subtly, which made it a pain to go back and change all the statistics.
