Right. Assuming that 4mask is telling the truth (would anyone be opposed to me giving him enough infractions to get him modkilled so that we can check if he's [still] town?) then the cult is actually capable of converting people after all. So it might be worth claiming if anyone blocked someone during night 1 and/or 2 but not 3 so that we can try to get rid of the leader before this becomes an issue.

Furthermore, we know that neither hector nor the tumbleweed were converted (unless Sargent or Griffin feel like claiming outsider or town-ally), so that's two people we can rule out. Griffin and Sargent are also unlikely targets since the cult leader likely wasn't aware that they were in the game when targeting their conversion. So that leaves 9 players as potential conversions or scum. I know that I'm town, meaning that there's a 50% chance of hitting scum of some sort even by just lynching randomly. Those odds aren't entirely awful. Also, OSG is confirmed as town once he comes back I guess, since the non-town faction numbers are unchanged (besides cult going up one- unless the WIFOM laden thought that just occurred to me is true).

Following on from that, Tolyk probably wouldn't be so open about wanting everyone to win as scum and TDS can't be lynched... so...
Tiruin, random chance tells me that you're scum. If you admit it now we can lynch you rather than forcing me to give you a bunch of infractions.

4mask, did you get a list of alignments during day 1, and if so was there a jester? We might as well sort out whether Shakerag is changing alignments every day.

Oh sure timezones, open the day when I'm not available (as well as end it when I'm not available :V).

Anyway! Someone exchanged with me a role that I most likely believe they knew the name of (hint: It's specifically dealing with what happened yesterday--and given the shift of mention today,

Could you please give details why you infraction'd them?

"Random chance" is a much better way of saying anecdotal evidence. Doubly so when you forward it up with false bravado.
Seriously: For posterity, this is why people scumhunt. Have I been the only advocate of commenting on the generality that way? If I could call out the majority of people here because of lacking activity during daytime (as it technically breaches going against their wincon, implying the majority being town anyway), I'd slap YOU with an infraction. And You! And you good sir!

And basically for you: Have your only targets of mention being those that are actively speaking in game?
You discard TDS because 'he's unkillable'? This is VERY strange behavior of you DA, because despite your character strength being your forwardness and straightforward attitude--you push away this ONE person because of what happened in D1.
Alone.
And you are not "confirmed town" {Though I like that you worded it as 'I know I'm confirmed town' >_> "I remember I'm town! :D"}. If we remove the idea that 4mask is scum (mafia or otherwise), then you may be cult or otherwise--given the latest count.

I can easily rule out that Tawarochir is NOT the cult leader because I did something to him last night. :V Do you feel lucky like that? Well do you, punk?

DA, for a 'confirmed' townie, your play is abysmal thus far. >_>
[Disclosure: Tiruin is affected by Down Mood Syndrome and this will reflect in her words--this is not related to Mafia and rather a more non-Mafia thing]

4mask, did you get a list of alignments during day 1, and if so was there a jester? We might as well sort out whether Shakerag is changing alignments every day.
I'll shortcut my own findings for him (but I'm also interested in hearing from you, 4mask)
This is Shakerag by Day 3.
This is Shakerag by Day 1.
See the shifts? We can't trust that, and nobody has questioned Shakerag about this :v
NQT, if you were alive--even if you were Mafia, I'd enjoy your positing of ideas <_>

DA: Who are you planning to use your Daykill on?

Private, obviously ;)
Newbie, content please. In any other game we can go with banter, but considering all this--go forward with content <_<

Okay, this is... weird.
And this is why we need scumhunting :v So despite any addition of hilarity, we'd at least be able to establish 'SOMETHING' on the PCs.

I'm basically asking everyone's reads as of this moment. Also is massclaiming a good idea? I'm all for that too.

I also would like to forward the idea of those who have flipped TOWN to claim everything they did earlier that they are comfy with [ie Basically claiming anything that helps narrow down the scum-spects] because this works as a double-edge for them if they have revived under another alignment

Spoiler: My reads + ADDED INFO (click to show/hide)

Tawarochir: What did you do last night? I'd like to know because I checked up on you--and your unconventional ability.

TheDarkStar: Update thyself;

Hector13 (I):   What is your wincondition?
> This ties into Ragshake--since he's also an Outsider [and a powerful demotivator of votes--I'm planning to SILENCE him today so the flipping votecount won't be FUDGED UP BY HIM -_-]

The Moonlit Shadow:  Please give a list of your reads. I've been getting jumpiness from you for all over this game. But this goes hand in hand with being new.

Tiruin: Yo sis. I'm being silly with myself which in no way even touches how I play mafia at this point. Destressing by being silly [which in no way is connected to my abilities.]

4maskwolf:

Shakerag: Lacking contentful posts. Do you think you're able to catch scum like that? Could I also please ask your reads on everyone?

Teneb:
8 town, 2 mafia, 2 cult, outsider, town-ally.
I am going to take a guess that both NPCs are town. We had 2 mafia at the end of the last day. The second cult member can be explained by a conversion in the night, since the NPCs certainly were not in play then. Hector is the confirmed outsider and tumbleweed is the town-ally.

I guess the question is if the NPCs are disruptive like Ragshake or not.
Guessing whether the NPCs are whatever is irrelevant; they are based on ROLES which is why they exist. Could I ask why you're rolling into that tangent? :O

Could I also ask you your main overview of the game thus far?

TolyK (II): Since you can speak, and since you can boat, update on your current everything-you-can-tell.

I've also realized that nobody can win while NQT is...existing. I have a power to wipe him from existence but it activates only at night (inclusive with his roles--so he's basically not playing, as far as I know). [in which I only realized the realization in the first sentence while typing this big post because of all these tabs open! And I'm in a PC shop -___-]

Glad to know that the reviver-person isn't Mafia too :V But he's technically not town since he revived an outsider.
An annoying outsider :^ [No offense Hector]

PPE: Hey! TolyK!

ELABORATING INTENSIFIES :I

My wincon remains removing Ragshake from the game.

I'm presently bemused by DA's voting of Tiruin. I can't see that being a serious vote given he's basically saying "I have nothing but a likely flawed statistical analysis based on an incomplete data set and many, many assumptions to support my vote on Tiruin."

Like, seriously bro?

What makes you think OSG is coming back, too, hm?

Why aren't you a lyncher then?
Also do you agree with the massclaim? Since [from my perspective] that seems the best way (even in the face of the mafia) to get coordinated here.

Currently PFP'ing and also something just hit me while I read Hector's post.
Also, OSG is confirmed as town once he comes back I guess, since the non-town faction numbers are unchanged (besides cult going up one- unless the WIFOM laden thought that just occurred to me is true).
DA, the 'faction numbers' are based on who is currently present at the start of the phase--as far as I presume, OSG's disappearance is a result of a night action; if it was a day action, it would be in a separate post from the day start post. If it was a hilarious day-action that was meant to start at the start of the day, then in the least there would be a notification (as I hope, Flabort [please confirm]?) that there is a difference, even if not direct.

So...scumslip much? :P

Keeping in mind any ability is as fallible as my memory/notes, yes, I can confirm that if a day action took place right away, there would be a separate post or at least a notification that it was not a part of the night stuffs.

Two more NPC's. Two.

Well, anyone know what the plant's (Tumbling Tumbleweed) doing? If it's nothing special, I'm in favor for ignoring it. Spectatorkill always seems not to have killed, however. If we knew the Spectator's motivations that would be more useful.
Two more? I don't see Ragshake, so I'm assuming role shenanigans happened last night (can confirm, had role shenanigans happening to me. But dear goodness this is a kindly one. I'm loaning a role \o/ and can return it anytime [and then the role that was borrowed from me has all its use-abilities being spent :V])

But yeah. Query TMS
What's with the dead-end(ish) speculating on the specs? Spectators can't speak. Why focus on the Tumbleweed when it's a Town-ally?

I'm wondering if the added NPCs are a timer-ability thing, like DA's Grima.

No, when I say random chance I literally mean random chance. There are eight candidates for four scum roles currently in the game, not counting myself for obvious reasons. TDS is definitely immune to lynches and I'm inclined to believe when he says that he's immune to kills, so regardless of whether he's scum he can't be a candidate right now. Tolyk's play doesn't seem scummy to me, putting us at six candidates for four (or three is TDS is scum) roles. Then I rolled a dice, because I'm currently in a risk taking mood for unrelated reasons.

Yep. I was confirmed town yesterday, but not any more since the cult has grown. Today I only said that I know I'm town to avoid reading over the post and thinking that I'd left someone out. I didn't say I was confirmed today as far as I recall.

Currently PFP'ing and also something just hit me while I read Hector's post.

Not quite getting what you're saying here. If OSG disappeared as a result of a night action (which I'm assuming is the case), he wasn't present at the start of the day and as such wouldn't be part of the start-of-day faction count. Since he's been excluded from that count, but the number of mafia remains the same and the number of ult has actually increased it's therefore reasonable to assume that he can't be a member of either one unless he exiled himself to spawn two NPC cultists. Hmm...

flabort, if an NPC is given four infractions, can they be replaced by a PC?

Right. My vote on Tiruin is pretty obviously not very serious given that I admitted while doing it that it was randomly placed from among six candidates. I didn't use it on OSG, but it seems reasonable that if it's similar to my power it wouldn't just get rid of him forever.

Good lord too many things to reply to via phone. /not actually reading things... eventually

Anyway, most salient (other than DA's vote, so unvote, for the moment) was Tiruin's demands for my wincon.

One of my roles (reply... 404? has either my flip or a link to it, will correct that if it's wrong tomorrow. Late and tired) is an instant loss while Ragshake wins. Ragshake wins by being in the game, and he's in the game whether alive or dead, so yeah. I voted for 'im, no feckin' closer to figuring out how to remove him from the game.

Perhaps the new NPCs have something to do with it?/thinking out loud

Relevant roles:
The Fell Dragon, Grima.
(Auto) Endgame Boss: The rest of the abilities in this role do not function until the start of the fourth day.
(Day) SILENCE, MORTAL [target]: You kill the target. This ability does not function while another ability is in play.
(Night) I AM THE END [Target]: You kill the target.
(2-shot, Night) YOU CANNOT SLAY WHAT MAY NEVER DIE: You come back to life. This functions only when you are dead.

The FHPBYOR2 Role That Puts People Up For Replacement Instead Of Killing Them
(Auto) Should you Kill: Any kill attempt you make gives the player 4 temporary infractions that expire at the end of the next day phase.

As for what I plan to do with them... selectively disabling the powers of people I think are scum seems pretty useful. Forcing someone to get modkilled also seems useful. So I'll probably do that.

Tolyk's play doesn't seem scummy to me, putting us at six candidates for four (or three is TDS is scum) roles. Then I rolled a dice, because I'm currently in a risk taking mood for unrelated reasons.
4 scum roles...Minus the Outsiders (or at least Ragshake)! :P The TOWN wincon does not usually include the Outsider unless both wincons clash (and Outsiders are not considered as scum in that regard). [Or at least that's how I understand it :v]
Which you WOULD'VE KNOWN IF YOU WERE TOWN. [beat]
Well...you were town. Or at least that's what the roleflip says. But...my point stands! <_>
[2 mafia]+[2 cult] = 4 scum.

I'm scum hunting right now. Effectively? Perhaps not. But in a fashion that amuses me, which is much better.
Oh you.

I'm not discarding TDS as a suspect, I'm saying that I can't get him lynched right now. I can disable his kill immunity tonight though, which is probably something I'm going to do.
Probably? :V
Yep, role shenanigans. Because your roleflip does not display any role that can do dis. (unless you mean banishment, but that's technically NOT disabling his kill immunity as he's not here for a PHASE! [Do note that means he'll be present the next NIGHT if you use it during NIGHT])
Relevant role:
Kryptonite
(Night) Glowing Green Rock [Target]: You cause all auto abilities that would prevent the target from dying to stop functioning for the duration of this phase. This is not a kill, they would need to be attacked too for this to work.

My vote on Tiruin is pretty obviously not very serious given that I admitted while doing it that it was randomly placed from among six candidates. And if you check my roleflip, I have a role that exiles players for a phase then returns them to the game. I didn't use it on OSG, but it seems reasonable that if it's similar to my power it wouldn't just get rid of him forever.
...So did you use it on OSG- oh.
So what did you do anyway? :v[/quote]
Something else  ;)

Thoughts on a massclaim?
Well, we know that everyone that isn't one of the already-known outsiders/allies is going to claim town. Unless there are people that can confirm player's claimed actions it's a little pointless at the moment.

Well, I can remove him for a phase, but that'd require predicting when the game will end. If you lose the Ragshake spawning role, do you know what your wincon will become?

Tiruin:
So what did you do anyway? :v
Actually, I guess there's not much point in not answering this. I had a suspicion that Ragshake would be coming back, so I took his toys away. If he does come back, he won't be able to Ragvote any more.
