Fine, I'll work out a compromise. I don't really wanna let it be bland, and I might as well practice what I preach. I already took the name anyway
So here are Stirk YGL variant Elves/Dwarves for realsies.
Elves
Elves can best be described as a tree in full bloom, both in appearance and personalities. They are humanoid, with thin branch-like arms and legs stretching out slightly longer than base. Their bodies are completely hairless, save their head. Their hair grows short, rarely making it past their chin even when they attempt to grow it long, as they are designed to work closely with animals. Their hair is naturally vibrant and colorful, each taking the characteristics of a blooming flower. This can range from subtle whitish pink of sakura flowers, to the yellow and orange coloration of a sunflower, to lily white, to whatever color violets are. Their bodies are sharp, fitting their branch-like quality. Sharp elbows, sharp fingers, sharp ears, sharp smiles, and especially sharp teeth. They are nearly completely carnivorous, only eating any kind of plant as an addition to meat or in extreme emergencies.
They are designed to Train animals, devoting much of their culture to this task. Often, their entire cities resemble the biomes of the animals they train. To outsiders, they have no different appearance than natural forest, wetlands, prairies, or whatever else they find themselves in. They typically build unobstructive buildings to keep this effect, such as hollowing out trees or building pits to live in, often designing larger buildings to stick with the theme. Work-animals are extremely common for these tasks, and nearly every other one.
In general, they get along with people almost as well as they get along with animals. What is the difference, after all? Many leave their homes (often accompanied by an escort of beasts) to act as traders, or to capture new species, or to live among other races. The majority have a friendly disposition, helping them get along with both people and animals. Cheerful personalities are common, and Elves are often full of energy and life.

Dwarves:
If one was to describe a Dwarf in a single word, it would be "Round". That isn't to say that they are fat-often the opposite is true-but they simply lack any sharp edges. Rounded fingers, rounded faces, rounded noses, even their bodies as a whole appear almost as walking ovals. Or, more accurately, as if someone grabbed a handful of pebbles from a river and made a doll of them. Their lives, too, are rounded. Dwarves often Train an assortment of skills, switching up throughout the day and through their life to avoid boredom or exhaustion. Rather than simply seeking to master a skill or two, they Train to master the concept of Skill itself. A skilled Dwarven baker might, for example, hold his own as a blacksmith, shoe-maker, and glassblower on par with a professional if not a master.
Anatomically, they are humanoids slightly shorter than base. They don't grow 'hair' as many races do, instead growing a rock-like growth that serves to protect them from harm. As such, they wear it long. Most of their body is covered in a thin layer, making it appear as if they where made of stone themselves. Outsiders generally only see a small amount of skin near the eyes, men covering the rest of their face with thick 'beards' and woman covering the face with long 'bangs'. It can grow heavy if left unchecked, often chiseled down by skilled 'barbers' who decorate it in a variety of styles, often considered an art among the Dwarves. Criminals and other prisoners are often 'shaved', having all their hair removed by force revealing the stocky character beneath. The color of this growth varies greatly, with a dull rock-colored grey being the most common. Other colors range from sandstone-like 'blond' to literally-jet black to dirt brown, with almost as many variations as there are rocks.
Dwarven society is relatively normal otherwise, often constructing towns and cities as one would expect them to. Discarded "Hair" is a common building material due to its strength, the fact it must be quarried for good hygiene, and its relatively swift rate of growth. Many Dwarves are competitive, hoping to put their many skills to the test against anyone who is interested. Constantly carrying around great weights makes them strong, in addition to the protection it grants them, making them powerful fighters when the need arises.

There! Not completely derivative at least, but you can recognize it as the boring base. Not sure why I did so much with hair
