A blurry mess of sensations overcomes your newly formed mind. Slowly, they become more defined, until you realize, first, your need to breathe. Immediately afterwards you feel the desperation of only finding some liquid instead of precious air, a liquid in what you seem to be suspended, floating. Was that your first action upon this world? Your head briefly emerges to the surface and you discover you have the ability to see, and you are welcomed by blinding light. You close what you realize are your eyes as you sink once more, and water? fills your lungs. The mess of sensations becomes less defined, again, until there is just a dull blackness, and your mind stops working.

You cough out some water. The sensation now is of you laying over something...grainy? You open your eyes, and are bathed again by light. It burns your eyes, but this time you get used to it, until you can see. You get up, and realize that you are over sand. Waves of water end up just near you. A Sea, one with blue crystalline water. But it gets grayish the further you see, less defined, until a grey fog swallows the edge of your sight. You turn around, and are greeted with the sight of a green forest, and it is now that you realize that you have been hearing different sounds coming from it, not like those of the waves. Far away into the forest, a big mountain towers over the land. Some smoke comes out of it. A Volcano. The smoke rises into the sky, until you see the bright element that previously blinded you. The Sun.
Everything is new, yet, you appear to already know many things. You stare into the foggy horizon. Mountain-shaped forms slowly move from one place to another. Some stopping after reaching a certain distance from another one.
You are left to your own, hunger and thirst, alien yet familiar sensations, beginning to assault you.
It will be up to you to survive in this place, the water preventing your escape. But where will you go? The only thing around this island seems to be...
The Ethereal Seas
