((You are indeed correct, but there is a workaround which I forgot. Class Feature Summon Monster live for 1 minute, not 1 round like the spell itself. Nothing says that I can't summon my Eidolon during the 1 minute my summon is active, which happens to be the same minute required to summon an Eidolon.

In this case it'll be: Summon Monster > Call Eidolon.

This case is nice if somebody decides to attack me in the night when the Eidolon is missing or he's gone for one reason or another. And since I do have the feat Augment Summon, my summon monster isn't a pushover.

The other case in which I can summon both would be when I use the Summon Eidolon skill, a spell (which is different from call eidolon which is a ritual)

In that case it'll be: Summon Monster > Summon Eidolon or vice versa. And in this case the Eidolon gets Augment Summon and I can keep spamming these two spells until I run out.


In the end though, you're right. In this case I can't do it without dismissing Vorlak. I forgot about that. I'll change my action appropriately.))

((No problem. I had taken a serious look at the Summoner for my character as well, as the class looked really interesting with a lot of potential in how you customize the Eidolon. I can't wait until we get a few levels and Summon Monsters stick around for more then a round.))

((I meant in the campaign in general. I assume there is a cure for lycanthropy somewhere on this continent, or that the means to create one is here. That's why Mauricio is rather important - he could have been set to looking for a "cure."))

((Oh, yeah, campaign wise it's pretty inevitable. If it's James, I just hope it isn't a wererat. No offense to Ritiki, but turning into a rat people isn't as impressive as wolf people, bear people, or tiger people. :P))

((Looking back, I realized that I was wrong about he size thing, but having a big boost to your physical stats is still nice to have.

I'm going to laugh if Ritiki gets bit by a wererat. He would walk out on a full moon, start screaming from the effects of the transformation and...

Look exactly the same. He would probably be the most confused out of all of us and walk back in and be all "guys, it didn't do anything". It would probably benefit him if it wasn't for the fact I'm ruling that you have to fight the lycanthropy's bestial madness. Though, for Ritiki, that's not hard to deal with since he looks exactly the same but just has a little more muscle.

I'll post in a bit, I just woke up, and I'm on my phone))

With your daggers out, you move up and stab the dire rat! (CRIT) (17+2-5) You hit with both of your daggers, your jeweled one cutting deep into its spine. You deal ((I had to look this up, because surprised enemies and unsuspecting enemies (such as Martijn here being in stealth) causes the enemy to be flat-footed for sneak attack damage)) ((3+2+5)*2) (3+2+6) damage, your dagger in your off hand causing the dire rat to screech as it burns, reverting to its true form as it turns into a human, and dying, blood coming out of its wound. It has no gear on her whatsoever

Varg takes a shift action to flank with Vorlak and swings at the wounded foe again, cutting his arm off and his axe cuts clean through and strikes at the one next to Vorlak ((cleave)). It strikes true, his axe digging into the creature's side, killing him as well.

Ewan arrives, moves in and grabs a shortsword and readies an action.

"Use this, James!" he doesn't want to toss it at you yet because you're too far away.

Ritiki begins his turn. There is only one target left and they look terrified. James has also arrived on the fields of battle by now.
