He trained in magical theory for a long while, and as such was unskilled in the majority of what somebody else would learn, but he believed it would be worth it.

Background: At the Age of 200, Takhisis sent a Vision of a World Ruled by his race, He spent 152 Years gathering the tribes by force of will and Strength of Arm, and another 61 years after that Enslaving Some minor races, Orks, Goblins, And Ogres. (Dark)Elves were the first to take up his Religion, Followed by the rest of the Races he enslaved, all this took 88 years. over the last 34 years he has gathered power and Finally his Chosen people have left the Fiery Mountain he started in...

(?) Brutal Slavery: The terrible conditions and impending doom of slave races incite just a bit of unrest and rebellion.
(?) Internal Slavery: Even with the client races, large numbers of the original goblins are enslaved as well, subjects of minor tribes that were forcefully brought into the Pit's dominion.  With a majority of the population actively enslaved, this creates problems.
Description and Background: The hedge wizard Valar discovered a clan of goblins living around the site of an ancient altar of indescribable evil.  Their shaman drew power from the sacrifice of occasional victims wandering into the valley, styling himself a god.  Valar quietly murdered the shaman in his sleep and instilled himself as their new god-king.  A series of militaristic reforms later, the goblins of the Thrice-Cursed Pit began a true campaign of large-scale slavery, capturing members of the surrounding petty kingdoms for labour and to keep the thrice-cursed altar's thirst slaked.

Background: A frankly mediocre hedge mage and wandering con-man, Valar was largely unknown until he stumbled upon a tribe of relatively ineffective if amusingly cruel goblins.  One brutal regime change later and he has shaped them into a militaristic armed force engaging in mass slavery and blood sacrifice, the latter of which fuels significantly greater magical power than he could ever achieve on his own.

Bio:Hero Backstory: His family had originally come from the empire of Thulth Maul, however they had to flee when it was discovered they were some of the last adherents of the Sunlight Dragon Saran. They fled to the Serakrhuer Dominate an Dark Elf kingdom that was full of different races The empire even though it was a dictator ship, they stay out of the peoples religions so they were accepted. Finally able to worship openly, the family opened a church the first in centuries to Saran. Cyrus decided to swear an oath to Saran, to become become his champion and to redeem his name. Training long and hard he become a great warrior and while he never became really skilled with magic he uses what he knows to complement his fighting style with a bit of trickery. While a very strong fighter his keen mind is even stronger having, gotten him out of many situations with great tactical sense. His great stamina and toughness however is what has allowed him to survive and keep going despite what injuries and exhaustion may befall him.

If I look a little absent is because I'm both waiting for Gigla to see if he finishes his civ and because I'm coding an app to help manage the game (sort of good news, this game might end up becoming my end of degree project).

EDIT: I'd like to see more Heroes, and less Rulers and Civs. I know most people would prefer to create their own civ and all of that, but hey, asking is worth a shot.

In acknoledgement to his success, the Boar-Elder trained him in the ancient art of Pig-Jitsu.
