The boy sighs, putting the bag back on his shoulder.
"Oh look. There's some more of the other initiates over there."
Nila grunts.
"Just... pain..."
"C'mon girly, ya gotta get movin' cause we ain't far."
Nila nods, slowly getting up again, but her body seems more limp than before.

[Akroma]

Orchid makes no gesture of recognising the new recruits presence.

Violet saw the group of 5, probably one of which was raising their hand, and raises a hand in return.

Reynard turns to the others.
"There are a few others over there."

"Thank you, Captain Obvious."

[Sanure]

"And that's my cue. See you all at the Academy." Prim waves, takes a single step forward, and skates off, the sand appearing to help her move extremely fast.

[Projeck37]

Prim would feel something moving beneath the sand in front of her, through her semblance.

[SOLDIER First]

"Is something the matter?"

[Sanure]

Prim attempts to detect what it is, while also darting backwards, the sand helping her along.

[8] Prim is slightly too late, as a monstrous Raker rips right through the sand, catching Prim's clothing on one of the teeth on the outside of it's maw.
[4, 16, 13, 9] The entirety of the group that remains on the ground is knocked on their bottom, besides Melodia.
"That... doesn't look good!"
The boy starts sprinting towards the now active Raker.

[SOLDIER First]

Reynard jumps to his feet, drawing the Sands once again.
"Looks like we don't have a choice.."
He switches it to gun form once again and fires several rounds at it.

[BlitzDungeoneer]

"...are you going to be able to walk the rest of the way on your own?"
Russell looks towards the oasis again as he says this. Is it particularly far?

[Twinwolf]

Violet once more adjusts her gloves, before also sprinting towards the Raker.

((What does it actually look like? Kind of sounds like a Grimm giant sand worm, but want to make sure.))

((I'm thinking of the giant snake Grimm from The Emerald Forest.))
