"Well why not smile? Nothing to be sad about is there? No one died yet, as far as I can see. Besides, this 'un here said it was fine." Prim slides up to Melodia and puts an arm around her.

Reynard gives Prim a short glance but for the most part his gaze remains pointed forwards.

"He said groups of four, he did not say groups could not themselves group up with other groups.  Or you're free to strike out if you're concerned."
Argent really doesn't seem to give half a flying skeletal carp what the Headmaster said, because said Headmaster just flung him in the desert.
"What's your name?"

Melodia is returning to humming.

After nobody answers, Reynard speaks up.
"Her name is Prim."

Reynard is silent for a moment.
"I know her name."

Much progress to the north-east is presumably made by Russell and his two companions.

Reynard quietly clears his throat and continues on.

Orchid, Violet, and Sienna spot a group of 5 to their east a little ways. The boy offers Orchid a portion of the meat.
Winter listens to Melodia's humming. Was it a recognizable tune? I mean, not like it mattered.

Those in this group paying attention, would note a group of 4 to their west.
Russell spots what looks like a small oasis to the north of his group. However, Nila collapses to her knees.

Prim nods when Reynard says her name, " Full name is Lilly Primrose Calhoun. Y'all can call me Prim."

Orchid holds her hand in stop-motion and ever so slightly shakes her head. Her face stays unmoved, eventhough her stomach rumbles loudly.
