Penelope carefully loads them, still keeping her gun pointed away.

He nods.

"Alright. Shall we get started?"

Plasma pistol appears.
"Sure. We're just... shooting, right?"

Contagion pulls out an intricately designed pistol, one that he never uses for combat purposes. He takes the magazine out, checks for rounds, then pops one out from the chamber, and catches it in the air. He loads the bullet into the magazine before sliding it back in. Doing all of this expertly. He moves the slide back swiftly, and smoothly. He looks over to Penelope and Wilson.
"Ready when you are."

[SOLDIER First]

Wilson scratches his head at the display. What was with all the theatrics?

"Are we having a lil' shooting competition?"

Aesford pays the fee for the entrance to the range, and covers the cost for Evrikdiki; even if she doesn't want to participate, they could still carry on their conversation.

Penelope looks at both of their pistols, keeping a mental note to check out Wilson's later and shaking her head at the theatrical reloading, and nods.
"Alright."
She walks up to an empty stall.

Contagion walks up to one as well.

Aesford rents a big ass machine gun and takes another stall.

"What kind of targets are we doing?"

"Normal targets."

Now that Alanis has pots of money...Science.

And saving the world, too, but science.

Aesford puts in some options in a machine on the side of his stall. "Normal targets, normal intervals, normal ranges, stationary. Does that sound good to y'all?"
Alanis does more science! Amazing findings about the universe and all of that. Her company disapproves. Less findings on quantum stuff and more testing cosmetic chemicals on the eyes of guinea pigs please, they say.
