Eirika looks at Mio in confusion. She didn't say anything.
"..So, Penelope, what brought you to the shooting range? Besides your... virtual reality issue?"

In that case, Mio said nothing.
"I was looking for something to do, is all. Shooting, huh? You wanna go a few rounds?"

"I didn't know you could use a gun."

Maybe Contagion is near Penelope?
"In my line of business, you need to know how to defend yourself from supervillains. They like going for seemingly helpless journalists like me."

[SOLDIER First]

NO STOP
"Huh. All right, then. Do you have your own?"

Penelope shakes her head.
"I left my pistol at home before I went to work. Well, before I ended up here, at any rate."

[SOLDIER First]

Wislon proffers the (good-as-new) revolver in his hand.

"You sure about this?"

"Mind if I... join in?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Just don't break it."
He smiles.

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Penelope chuckles.
"No problem. And of course, Contagion, if you've paid for it."

As soon as she takes the revolver (by the handle, of course), Penelope immediately points it away from Wilson and Contagion (and everyone else), expertly opens the cylinder to see if it's loaded, checking how many bullets are in the gun and checking if one's already in the chamber, before keeping it pointed down and away from them.
