in a perfect world, I would be in whatever plot Idou, Garnt, and ENG are in, one way or another, D&G have gone full bro with them.

But any plot with some peacetime or minor sidequests to allow the crafting, training, and bartering to take place will be acceptable if this perfect world does not come to be.

Maybe pikmin?  Oh man that would be sweet, loot, dungeons, giant monsters, and the alliance of tiny helpers.

I might even just follow Samus on her next job. Phazon research and Dackly wanting a space suit demands it.

Well, I mean, while I wouldn't be adverse to it, (While Dackly and Gozer are naive, them being put in a situation where the morality of their actions is held accountable would be VERY interesting to me.)my salt levels would rise slightly if all this talk of multiple potential plots boiled down to "What, you thought you had a CHOICE of where you go? Fufufufufu!"

I would like to know if that is the case if it is, so I can keep my hopes down.

Well, me and projeck both have plots on Remnant although mine's is more of a side plot that would be kicking off after someone notes his sleeping habits.
