Politico [Taking Players]

Politico
This is a character-based large-scale roleplaying management game. It will feature characters with individual stats and traits, while at the same time allowing control over large populations and economic systems. If this at all piques your interest, I implore you to skim through the rules and sheets and, if at that point you are still interested, make a sheet. Keep in mind that this is in beta and the system has never been tested - if I notice some glaring flaws, I may end the game prematurely or change some stuff around mid-game. If the game fails to grab enough players, I may simply run it as a SG - bit reluctant to do so, however.

Game Pacing
Though the precise pacing is not set in stone, it will not likely be a quickly updated game. I estimate that Game Turns (one month intervals) will take between three days and two weeks, depending on the number of players, the amount of responsibilities they have regarding calculations, and how quickly they respond to turns. My ideal would be less than one week, though seeing as I have not attempted a game of this scale I am unsure.

Player Options
Players have any number of options and choices regarding playstyle, and the way they play the game can change over time. For example, you may start as a single character but seize control of a province's government, transforming from a more sandbox adventure into an empire management game. I have no requirements or expectations regarding this, so go crazy (within the limits of the game). In general they have the options of starting as a GOVERNMENT (single province), BUSINESS, ADVISOR (or other character employed by a ruler), ORGANIZATION (non-business and non-government types, such as criminal organizations and political parties), or CHARACTER (lone character, starts with no employer and no organizations or holdings under their control).

Hi!
While I am incredibly interested in joining this, (This type of thing, while this game is highly complicated, and mathematically complex for myself..) I do wish to join, but am currently busy at this time. I'll write a sheet up at a later point.

Is there specific rules for an organization, or are they simply provinces with no real location?

I wish I could play, but I will be running (yet) a(nother) game. If I find time, I'd be happy to join.

Apologies, as I thought this game was different, (setting wise), I am not one who enjoys these type of games in a modern day setting, and will be removing my sheet.

The stats of an organization are dependent on the organization in question; other than that, however, the way they operate are almost identical,

Question: what is the technological level that we are in for this game? is it arcaic, futuristic? is it evenly distributed?

I figure at some point, you're just gonna run outta fucks to give and just off yourself whenever you get hurt at all. It's not like there's any downsides to it. Hangover? Suicide will fix that. Stubbed your toe? Suicide. Headache? Suicide. Papercut? Suicide.

Ooh, forgot to mention. It is modern-level tech, though there may be some differences (nuclear weapons, for example, are a closely-guarded secret kept by a religious organization). The weapons tech is the most liable to be different, while economically they are near identical (technology-wise, anyway).

Put up a poll instead.

Eh, to  be honest the timer period doesn't really matter very much. I'll put up a poll.
