Vigil got some normal scyth 3D-Printed as well as a sheath for his giant sword, The Exo-Suit makes your life so much easier.
Will you be taking Wark out as well?
The Entity that's been trying to choke on Tal looks far more intimidating than dangerous, it's 'mouth' and 'eyes' were just.. white glows, no teeth, no details. It looks like it's very ferociously strangling Tal and screaming at his face, but you only hear little whispers in the back of your head. And it's not even the strong kind of whispers that you've had from the wasps earlier, either.
All in all, it's a 6/10 for Visuals but a 2/10 for effects. You feel like you're looking at a Cognitohazard but without the hazard part.
It'd probably be super spooky had you seen this through a series of photos and isn't a hardened gate team.
Something just doesn't feel right when you look at it, though. Like it's not supposed to be there.. more than the usual not-supposed-to-be-there-ness. Like.. Like seeing a square peg in a round hole, or a round peg in a square hole.
Or a Windows 10 being ran on a Playstation 2. It.. just.. isn't right! and is getting very irritating.
Zach's plan for an enhancing circle is good sauce, it will really allow you to TK further away. But the problem of not being able to see your target still persists, Recon Drones can't get close enough and you're not that accurate anyway..
And I'd really like to see you try finding their minds amongst the literal millions of civilian along the way. Go on, make my day. Though the circle will be useful if they starts shelling you before the wards comes online, though. You can stop bullets, with a bit of enhancement, 80mm shells are just really, really big and really strong bullets. So it really shouldn't be all that different.. right?
The assault party gathers at the front gate leading outside the main building, every organic assets have already retreated inside, leaving only drones working away on the wards and automatic defense online. Surplus rifles fortunately do not have the stopping power to shoot through what is essentially miniature tanks, thanks to Akras's advanced materials and Technomagi enhancements.
The moment you bursts through the door, a volley of what must've been at least two dozen rifles from practically everywhere outside with a line of sight slams into you.
Then proceeded to harmlessly bounces and ricochets off of Jon's extra armor with no visible effects.
With your neigh-invulnerable armor, you pretty much walk through volleys after volleys of rifle fire like tanks, all the while using either Jon's Augmented Target acquiring system built into his eyes or usual HUD versions on your helmet, paired up with swiveling ears on your helmet that acted as Radar, you've no problem finding out where the shots are coming from.
Repulsor beams from Jon was accurate and simple, though it does have a habit of setting the entire room that the sniper's in on fire too, so that's going to be several more buildings on fire, as if you're not the bad guys enough..
Jenny does her best providing counter-sniping support, picking people off one by one with her rifle that, while it turns most of a person into gore and fine, pink mist, it still doesn't completely wreck a room.
Zander and his doggos are going to run for the nearest building, what's everyone's plan on going through a mile of urban combat? you can and is actually encouraged by Akras to treat every Civilian as enemy combatants. Go paint the town red, guys.
Akras doesn't half-ass, if we're bringing Genocide and slaughter to town, it'll be the worst one history have ever seen. As long as it doesn't interfere with the main objectives, of course. They didn't send you out here to shoot up civvies for fun.
Frazz is presumably pouting somewhere, his Kobolds are either in the vent or in training and the rest of the party is going out there getting shot at, being weird or fighting off abomination from outside of existence.
