Time passed.. the knocking continues, but the Entrance held. You're not sure how many hours it's been, but suffering hours of no sleep while under the pressure and creeped out by flicking lights, you're definitely worse for wear comes 'morning'. Bill have slipped away at one point, you weren't sure when, the knocking have stopped now.. The fog slowly, very slowly cleared until it was gone as if it was never there. Revealing the wrecked and burned surroundings that suffered your Napalm barrage.

You may count it as a victory as nothing more than monkeys and a single laser rifle was sacrificed and nobody died, but man could you really use that sleep.. the majority of the damned Wiznerds woke up fresh and happy that everyone survived.

"Said entity is interested in being hired by Akras. In the meantime, a little mayhem won't be bad for Gaia. After all. End goal is subjugation. Destabilization of a random civilization isn't a bad thing. Anyways. Lets head back. I have a sleep deprivation induced headache."

With nothing else stands in your way, you head back to the Gate.

A large area have been cleared out and paved with concrete, several prefab buildings have already popped up, with supplies, tools, equipment and defenses being shipped over to Gaiaside. You see a Sattelite dish being set up as well as a rocket launching pad in the distance, no doubt to pierce the heavens with bigfuck rockets and put satellites into orbit. A good number of people, easily over a hundred in Akras uniform walks around, working. Some armed and armored, some isn't.

It looks like Akras is making it's presence here.. And by the large pile of dirt surrounding heavy construction machinery, they're digging in deep and planning to stay.

Ichabod just stared, jaw slacked in awe. The Kobold continues to cling onto Frazz like some sort of parasites while their Magi seems to have dislocated their jaw from dropping it so hard at the sight of ALL THE SHINIES.

"Behold. Modern engineering."

"On a different note. Review the current debrief draft."
Tal sends the debriefing draft to everyone's PDA.

((Props if you can find the easter egg in the entity mentions.))

"My request for cloned wasp specimens for mind control testing and mobilisation as expendable soldiers. Also the recommended boot camp or shock collar ultimatum of agents Frazz and Vigil. Also of note is a change in attitude of myself, agent-slash-magi Zachary. Too much time around Tal combined with subsequent mindrape a likely cause."

"Bringing us in.." The Carmines reported as they line the vehicle up to the large gate, people gathered around to watch the returning legendary Gate team, the fact that you came back with your vehicle looking so badassly scorched with fire and the entrance a little damaged makes it all the more amazing to the mundanes.

"Path is locked, vehicle lined up to the gate, you've permission to enter. Welcome home, Foxhound." Came a feminine voice over the radio as you rolled up and through the gate. There still weren't any lurching feeling or a change in anything once you pass the gate, like always. You were just Gaiaside at one moment, and now you're Terran side the other. Cleaning chemical agents are sprayed onto your vehicle as it slowly come in through, a lot have changed since you've left. The level is far more expanded now, with full on facilities dedicated to shipping things out to Gaiaside. There must be hundreds of personals here, technicians, security details, construction workers.. heavy construction machine being prepped to leave, materials packed up.. Prefab buildings..

Then there's Akras's Military presence. Parked armored vehicles.. VTOL aircrafts.. motherfucking TANKS..

Looks like Akras is going to war. A war of conquest!

the Gaiaside mage dropped their jaws once again. Any harder and they'd make a hole on the floor.

This is just unreal to them. It's too big! too much! Not even the grandest of dwarven structure or the greatest of human cities are as awe-inspiring as this!
