You could always find another reason or simply replace the Rosarius.

Any focus for the arch-militant, like Command for anti-boarding/hit-and-run actions?

Anti-Boarding for the Arch-Militant.

And no, I'm not losing the rosarius. I need all the protection from hostile projectiles that I can get.

Twinwolf, are you still around?

And Sirus, here's your sheet. You can adjust it if you want to, and I made it so it isn't that hard to do it:

I am. I'll try to get the sheet finished, but whether I can in time or not depends on when you want the game to start.

I did post a pregen character sheet for you a while back, did you get it?

And I want to get at least one more of the roll20 campaign's peeps to join, maybe the pilot even.

Yeah, but I haven't had time to look up all those things. Mostly for the background and such. Voidborn means born on a ship, right? What's "Stubjack"?

Since it's a test game - or series of tests in a game - you don't need to worry much about the background, and I advise searching for those terms in the pdfs.

As for Stubjack, here's the description:

Looks interesting and useful. I'll join the crew as an augur-specialist/repairman, if that's acceptable.

I'll chalk out the charsheet later today to save Caellath's time.

@Sirus You might be allowed an exception from the Origin Path system in one pick if you give a very good RP reason and GM gives you green light with that; that's also there in the rules. If your initial Origin Path isn't that twisted all around the place, you could try bringing it up to Wrex.

@ Nikitian: The only real leap is the one from Void-Born to Child of the Creed, everything else luckily manages to fall within the weird "path" rules. My initial backstory (discussed with Caellath) was that my character had previously served on a Ministorum vessel that befell some unspecified tragedy (hijacked by Chaos Raiders, perhaps), and he was able to take his bonus acquisition (the good-quality rosarius) with him when he escaped.

I'll talk to Wrex about it on Sunday.

I'm interested in joining if you're still looking for test-players, probs for a premade character.

I'll talk to Wrex about it on Sunday.

You should probably PM him/find him on IRC earlier so that in case he denies it you can work on fixing it. And I don't think the origin path is weird; if the party was entirely composed of experienced players I think he could do away with them in favor of concepts, but as it is sticking to them seems like a better idea.

@Nik: You can join with the same pilot character from the roll20 campaign since it's easier and we don't have a PC pilot for the test.

@Cheesecake: Do you have a Career/role in mind?

I called it weird because I can't remember any other RPG off the top of my head that limits character creation in this way. Not even the other 40k RPGs, unless every game I've joined has simply ignored the origin path.

If worst comes to worst it shouldn't be quite that big a deal to fix. There are two Birthright options I can pick (Scapegrace and Stubjack) that lead to the exact same Calamity, and everything else is linked properly.
